Exactly like my tray. Except the outside it's not fabric red wrapping. But thin strips of bamboo wrapping. All bamboo. The inside from 15cm-20cm is what I like the design. Simple but nice. 8.6 inch (22 cm).🐺

The Small size 7 inch Out of Stock. Please notify me when the Small size is back in stock. It's a beautiful piece I just gotta have. Thank you Ancient Cookware. Is plenty of room for 2 piece Catfish (Nhiều hành lá và 2 miếng cá). I submerge the whole clay pot with lid separate in water to be even. After the pure coconut oil I let it dry before I put on the stove. I don't feel right put the pot on the stove right after. 2 minutes on Low flame. 2 minutes on Medium flame and 2 minutes on High flame. Go slow raising the heat. Don't want the clay pot to split.🐺

Are you supposed to cook with this lime on there? I'm asking because in all the videos I see of people cooking tortillas on a earthenware comal, it is never white. Am I supposed to wash it off after applying or what?

Superb , regretfully a European trader will skim all the cream as usual . This village should have its own internet outlet and sell directly all around the world . These pots with a glass top will work beautifully in solar cookers .

I'm Tiv from nigeria. our grinding stones are very similar, but the roller is a bit smaller and the stones are smooth. we cure the stone by grinding anything - potato peels, banana peels... anything, until there is no longer any dust on the stone. it can be done in a day if one has the time, but i did it little by little over the course of several days. i used it till it got a little dent in the middle. I had to move and had to leave my stone behind. i miss my stone. a blender has nothing to it.

The smoke isnt turning the pots black. The burning material put in the barrels is using up the oxygen. The absence of oxygen along with the heat makes the iron in the clay slip turn black. If they were to leave the lids off the barrels the pots would come out red.

Hi! We have a clay comal that is over 10 years old. It was cured & used for cooking for a few years by my suegra. then it was packed away. I tried using it & it gives a stale/off flavor to the tortillas. Is there a way to fix this? I tried washing with light soapy water & that didn’t help.

When I wash my pots, plates, bowls and cups, they turn the water a dark grey. Is this normal/safe? 🤷‍♀️ Just worried about the color cooking into my food when I boil with or eat out of the pottery. Thank you.

I love simmering my Mexican pinto, red or black beans in the big 4 and 6 quart black pots. After watching how they're made I don't feel bad about spending a lot. Tomorrow I will be buying the 4 quart glazed flat Cazuela pot for some new cooking adventures. I have been eyeing it for a couple years. I had to save up for 3 months to afford it. Gosh, all of their pots are beautiful.
