A Forerunner valveless question for you: Bought a Forerunner 2.0 valveless recently. Especially on the lowest octave I hear a tinny, echoic sound when I depress the slider - maybe another reed resonating simultaneously. Is this normal on a valveless harmonica? I find the sound annoying, and I haven't encountered it on any other chromatic harmonica. Nor have I figured out a fix. Removing the covers, I've seen nothing out of the ordinary.

I’m working on tuning my own Hanago. I’m assuming that the delivery messed up the tuning, but omg it’s not fun 😅

Lyres and harps are really hard to tune. You have to turn the tuning wrench by *fractions* of degrees until you get it right. Turn too far left or right, you can get the lower or higher note than desired. Keep at it, you'll eventually get the hang of it

Tuning a lyre is really hard, like you said, easy to go too far and get a sharp or flat. Speaking of which, the Hanago's capable of playing semitones, at orders of magnitude cheaper than chromatic lyres, w/c can cost $1,000. BTW, got mine just yesterday
