hole not playing on your harmonica? fix your harmonica

A Forerunner valveless question for you: Bought a Forerunner 2.0 valveless recently. Especially on the lowest octave I hear a tinny, echoic sound when I depress the slider - maybe another reed resonating simultaneously. Is this normal on a valveless harmonica? I find the sound annoying, and I haven't encountered it on any other chromatic harmonica. Nor have I figured out a fix. Removing the covers, I've seen nothing out of the ordinary.
