That wasn't even the MK8U wr 11months ago.. showing MK8U wrs that are years older then a MK8DX wr just doesn't make sense.
@Jetliner9 ай бұрын
I'm making these videos showing the 8U record that was current when 8DX surpassed initially. The way I've titled the video is very intentional, because there has been a lot of improvements on both sides since then. Later videos in the series will have more recent/current 8U records (should I ever finish making them lol)

That's a new way to cheat, get thousands of guests for free. The method I used was to name a custom family after cheat codes that automatically activate when they spawn into the park entrance.

If I recall, you'll need to put it on block section mode, and increase the hold time by long enough to get the next train to wait at the top of the lift. Been many years, so I could be wrong

I don’t think I could handle this. That’s after lapping Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point 10 times in a row
So yes, indeed K4I beat Victor's MK8U wr but the only reason he really was beating the 8U wr was due to the fact the NISC wasn't really existent in 8U yet while in 8D it was giving 8D wrs a advantage by simply taking a NISC to cut off a second or 2. But then if they didn't have the NISC they would probably still not be able to beat Victor's wr.
@Jetliner2 жыл бұрын
Most certainly so. Significant differences as such will be the only thing that allows 8D to surpass 8U, and not really pace alone (well, baby strats...)

Just imagine now much this might cost IRL. Based on some prices of steel roller coasters I've seen, probably around $400 million?

Nice Shroomless run
@airy_y3 жыл бұрын
nice run! btw, i take it that for the first nisc, the underwater route is faster than the normal route (the bridge). is it viable to do this online?
@Jetliner3 жыл бұрын
I consider this the slow (comparable to bridge) approach from underwater. I mainly do this because it is a lot safer from the dangers of the bridge (items, most bumps, accidental drafts, etc), so I find it to be a lot more consistent, especially lap 1.
@Jetliner3 жыл бұрын
I think ima's run demonstrates the fast (but dangerous online) underwater approach well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoXIY2qYZq18qJo

Will this work on complete edition? (The one currently on steam) Update: it does, but the file should be called “coaster designs” instead of just “coasters” Update to the update: i can’t find the files where individual saves are kept in the steam release.
@Jetliner3 жыл бұрын
Honestly have no clue how this file will act on that version. Supposedly things load a lot quicker so it might be worth a shot? If anyone else ends up trying this out, feel free to chime in.
@bracken87823 жыл бұрын
@@Jetliner i would presume the steps would be slightly different, i’ll have to try sometime. Honestly building an entire park around this might be a cool challenge. Maybe even add multiple stations to the ride in place of the color transitions.
@bracken87823 жыл бұрын
I tried it and the game crashed, but the design did show up. Just... don’t be surprised if you can’t place it, just use the world, not the design.
