Most of us will never see mt skene thanks to the bloody greens. Even if you join a club there's no guarantee they will do a skene trip or atleast be invited or notified to go
@michaelnugara1 Жыл бұрын
What have the Greens got to do with seasonal closure of Mt Skene. It's shut like the rest of the high country to prevent damage to tracks and stop inexperienced idiots getting into trouble needing rescuing. Nothing to do with the Greens

There is a reason why bushwalking can be quicker and less hazardous in such terrain. The same goes for XC ski touring.

Pure offroading, that's the way. No big lifts, 35+" tyres and lockers front and rear. Although mine is mildly modified, I only use lockers when I'm badly stuck.

No, just certain sections. And it is a lot easier in the dry as well!!

Just want to say guys a huge thank you for making this series of video's up to Cape York. I had bought my first 4x4 back in 2010 and found these videos at the time and it was just so inspiring to get out there, even if you didn't have all the gear and just have a go. Thanks again your videos really led me into exploring this amazing country.

Yeah it’s a pretty daunting track! I’ve ridden down it on a motorbike as well, and that was tricky simply due to be being so damn steep.

@federicomeucci91885 жыл бұрын
Very good car, very bad driver. Here is a very important tip since apparently you did not do it. Its a rule besides being logic, for ur safety that once you cannot continue further on a steep uphill like ur first one on the video, as soon as the car stops moving forward, if you decide to go back-words you immediately engage the rear gear and let the vehicle go backwards with engine break. Very lucky that at your first attempt the car went only at a certain safe degree and leaned against the side of the road otherwise... you would have rolled. I hope you read this message and save who ever u drive around....
