Perfecto el trabajo que hiciste, también estoy haciendo esa diligencia. Quiero preguntarte por los sargentos de varilla cuadrada que usas para sujetar, done los conseguiste? The work you did was perfect, I am also doing that diligence. I want to ask you about the square rod clamps that you use to hold, where did you get them?

Hi indalezioperez698, Thanks for reaching out and your kind words. Mobility is slowly returning to the finger and I hope to get back into the stagecoach ASAP. I decided to shelve the project until the injury had completely healed so as not to alarm anyone with the injury imagery :). Amazing how quickly I healed and slowly regaining feeling again. Hopefully after the seasons break I can recommence where I left off.

Hello Chris I wanna thank you for these videos. My dad is making a carriage like this from scratch and your videos have really helped him in the process. He's wondering if you have another video of the final step which is assembling the wheels to the rest of the build? and if you haven't done that part yourself is there something you can recommend i get him to help him with the instructions of that part? thank you again!
@chrisoxford8442
@chrisoxford8442 Жыл бұрын
Hi niyooshashahgaldi7065 , Thank you for your kind words. I am yet to complete the cabin so I don't have any videos of the final steps attaching to the undercarrage. Most pictures, kits and models I have seen of stagecoaches have the cabin simply sit on top of the suspension tripple springs. studio.kzbin.infoqt3ZOokQy_o/edit He could also download the instructions for this kit from the artesania web site. artesanialatina.net/en/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=309 Trust this helps with your dads progress.

Hi Chris , I have a question what does it mean when the measurement says 1,5 mm?
@chrisoxford8442

Hi Jerry, I would suggest this was probably a simple typo and means 1.5mm. It also depends where you're seeing this measurement as to what they are trying to detail.

Hi Jerry, All you really need is a good sharp hobby knife, mini saw, a few mini clamps, glues and sandpaper. I have aquired my tools over many, many years of model building so some may be hard to find. The brass clamps are a japanses mini brass bar clamp. Searching Amazon might bring them up. Just search Amazon for other tools you might like.

To the point where I need to do the roof rails. Everyone seems to be having a hard time with this, hard to understand why it’s so difficult to put a 2mm piece of brass in a 1/2mm hole 🙄 after almost tossing the whole project out the window, I made a template of the top and I’m assembling the railing on it, curving the 2mm and 1.5mm brass wires to match my template and glueing them to the stantions that I’ve loosely inserted in pre drilled holes on the template. Working out pretty well, proud of my Mcgyvering.

Hey Chris, I hope your absence is because of over work and or lost Computer Files, not anything else. I finished my Coach and it couldn't have turned out better. I'm thrilled with everything. I wanted to thank you for getting me started on the right path and I learned so much. You really put on a Master Class... I moved onto an OcCre Tram Kit and so far, it's not even close to the same quality, but will persevere. I plan to retire completely next year, so maybe give the filming a try... Thanks again and I hope you are healthy and safe...

Hi Bob, very happy to hear you have finished the kit and also how happy you are with the final result. I’m also quite chuffed to say the least that my videos have inspired and help you on your way. I did manage to stitch some video together from the damaged files but not perfect. Then I decided to stupidly try and cut my index finger off. Dumb ass mistake with a hedger. All good though as I’m on the mend and itching to get back to the kit and possibly other kits also. Glad I was of some positive guidance to you and wish you all the best with your current model and retirement.
