It's crazy how excited I was for you knowing that the musical episode was coming up because I'm not into musicals myself. But I'll take any opportunity to hear Sam Lloyd singing. I'm super happy that his character hits just the right notes for you. That being said, "Guy Love" was fantastic. Peace!

Cheers mate, I really did enjoy it. Original music can be hard to tackle so I appreciate the effort that goes into them. I'm yet to hear Ted sing poorly and I agree 'Guy Love' was great

Turk was worried about money previously which is why My Musical opens with Carla having done a budget and THEN contemplating not working. Apparently Friends Forever is full of nerdy medical humor. Stephanie D'Abruzzo was in the 2003 version of Avenue Q and has been a long time puppeteer on Sesame Street. My Musical on it's own would get Scrubs 5 Emmy nominations and in particular Everything Comes Down to Poo and Guy Love were nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.

Whoa! Thank you for sharing as always. Haha I don't know about that poo song but I love that ''guy love' got the nom.

So in the states doctors work out of hospitals, but they are not paid by the state. You pay for insurance and they pay the doctor, and the hospital. And people will leave the hospital after two days at the most because it’s very expensive to spend any time in a hospital, even with the insurance. Plus the insurance company’s fight the doctors and the hospitals at every turn to pay for anything.

All 4 actors were very well known. Gordo was played by Wil Wheaton who played Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: TNG and himself in The Big Bang Theory. Chris was played by River Phoenix, a very talented actor who sadly died at 23. He was Joaquin Phoenix's brother. Teddy was played by Corey Feldman who played in a ton of 80s movies and was very famous. Vern was Jerry O'Connell who starred in Sliders and was in a bunch of movies. Now he is on a talk show and does a daytime game show. Ace was played by Keifer Sutherland of 24 fame. Almost every actor either had a big name already or went on to do quite well (until River's untimely death).

Thanks for sharing, I wouldn’t have picked Jerry O’Connell but I do remember Wil Wheaton in the Big Bang theory 👍🏾

M. Night made some amazing movies (sixth sense, signs, the village) and also some not so loved stuff. Another option from him is 2021s "Old" which is more of a horror, scares and all. People kinda hated on it but i thought it was fun and also had a really sweet ending.

The red Hilux named "Crumpy" is a reference to a series of famous(in NZ) older tv ads, and the writer of the book (Barry Crump, who's in the ads). eg: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6Lan6VoqN-UldE

JD is describing he got so turned on from the foreplay he prematurely came on Kim and got her pregnant. I really liked this show's portrayal of pregnsncy because it gets much more into the finer details of it all then other sitcoms. My ringtone is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Pillar Man Theme

It was controversial at the time because it was a black cast and book written by a black woman, but it was being directed by a white man. Also highly suspected that's why it didn't win any awards even though nominated for 11 different categories. I learned this from an interview with Whoopie. (Sorry if spelled incorrectly)

Jeffrey Jones (Charles Deetz) was a busy character actor at the time. Besides being in Amadeus, he was the principal in Ferris Bueller (that's where most people know him from). He's continued working but generally isn't featured as prominently since his scandal (involving a minor). They sort of did and didn't eliminate him from the sequel. Michael Keaton was interviewed about how he came to be involved. He said the first meeting didn't go anywhere; he thought Tim Burton was a nice guy, but had no idea what he was talking about. Some friends prompted him to talk to him again and they started working things out. When he first stepped on the set in full costume and makeup, the crew applauded. He just started doing crazy stuff and figured they'd stop him if he went too far, and they didn't. His performance was so crazy that it's not hard to see him in the subsequent Saturday morning cartoon Beetlejuice, where he and Lydia are actually pals.
@splintreactsАй бұрын
Whoa mate! Thanks for sharing, I had no idea there was even a cartoon. To me it definitely felt like a lot of his lines were improvised
