He sounds amazing. Especially that age. They do this because they want to, not because they have to. That's the difference! I've always preferred smaller venues but they're just too big of a band

Jack Butcher… Fast forward 30 years to 2000 and Loogootee plays Tecumseh for a regional championship at Tecumseh. It will go down as the most exciting game ever played in that gymnasium. We won that day. It was a war.
@brianarbenz1329Ай бұрын
I was a junior in high school in New Albany, where we had won the state title two years before this, and we thought of Loogootee as some kind of gravity defying high wire act. They could not win it all -- I guess they were one game away from being an Angelo Pizzo movie! But what they did was unforgettable.

Loogootee teams of the 1960s and 70s were probably on the level of Milans 1954 state Champs. They beat all comers including two very talented Seymour ball teams in the Evansville semi-state. High School basketball was still king at the time.
@user-pc3kl6hl3pАй бұрын
Loogootee had a very fine team in 1975 and player in Bill Butcher. I remember some people from Columbus North giving us a hard time because of the lop sided score. But they found out how good the Lions were the following week in the final 4 when they were beaten worse than the Owls were in the Semi State. I was 19 years old in 1975 and was still aching from the loss to the Lions in 1970. It doesn't hurt so much anymore in fact I have came to a conclusion since listening to these tapes that knowing how good Seymour was during those years I now realize just how good Loogootee was. It was a wonderful time for High School basketball and I got to see it and live it. All of us that did were not just lucky but blessed.

I was 14 and loved the Owls and thought they were unbeatable. What a great time when our heroes were high school boys. Congrats to the Lions this was some kind of special.

Please see a ear nose n specialist. I've recently retired as a nurse. A smokers voice at 71 is one thing n being 71. Johns voice sounds troubled more than what would be natural for a light smoker. The doctor could help him keep even his speaking voice. I like the guitar part john.

She was named the Richard Tucker Award Winner in 2017 and was awarded the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award by the Metropolitan Opera. Having made a string of successful debuts at the Met, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra national de Paris, and Staatsoper Berlin, she has become a fixture at many of the top houses around the world. In 2018, Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music labels released her debut album, There’s a Place for Us, followed by a second album, Made For Opera, in 2022.

“When we first sang together five years ago, as the echo of applause was still ringing behind the stage curtains, they asked my opinion of the young soprano with whom I had just performed. In front of the television cameras, I responded: “I really wanted to sing with her, and today it happened.” Since then, Nadine Sierra and I have trodden the boards of many theaters and performed many duets, as her international career continues to flourish and reap success. She is one of the most talented singers working today.” - Andrea Bocelli
