1967-68 St. John's Eagles (62) vs Loogootee Lions (51) Sectional (WFML)

Former Loogootee star Junior Gee coached his Eagles to a hometown rival defeat of the Lions for the first time ever in the sectional. It was pupil defeating the teacher as Loogootee coach Jack Butcher took the loss. John O'Maley led Eagles with 21 points. Jim Trout followed up with 17. St. John's led by only 2 points after the 3rd quarter, 40-38, but outscored the Lions 22-13 in the final quarter.
