You test the wires and the capacitor, but didn't tell us your finding. That would have been helpful for those of us who are learning the trade.

Hi Master...its interesting. Can I ask you something please? Where on the wires are both ends of the thermal fuse attached?

This was exactly my problem, the connector had shorted to ground (54 Ohms). But WHY ??????
@FaizTech46628 күн бұрын
Good
@dirk_t_wachterАй бұрын
There's some confusion here perhaps. The 'filaments' are internal parts of the magnetron, what you are replacing is just the connector/plug. I can't see how this can have shorted to ground unless it was overheating badly and melted. Most likely there's something else wrong with this magnetron, if it has short circuit from the terminals to ground. Honestly, I can't see how what you are doing fixes anything if indeed the magnetron has failed

So the coil in the relay is always pulsing on and off, even when neither blinker is operating (and not using hazard lights)?
@wildmanofborneo3 ай бұрын
Hi if it's a 5 pin relay, can the relay be bad if the left blinker works ok, but right blinker flashes too fast?

ok so what the actual f was the problem how did it got solved? I'm having the exact same problem, but all the readings are fine, the PSU is clean... You didn't do aynthing yet your problem got solved. HOW?!

Good day Mr. Its very clear good video n nice tutorial. I have a question that i want to know how many volt of the secondary winding that has 2 wire.. Can i plug the primary to the 220vac wall outlet and measure the voltage on the obove secondary wire.? Of course we do not touch the Hv pin/ output or chasis on the transformer. Thanks you.🤝
@davidfalconer89135 ай бұрын
Another ( safe ! ) way to test , is to wire the EHT winding to your domestic mains supply ( neutral MUST connect to the steel core ! ) ... then switch on ..... there should be a low voltage present at the original mains terminals ( around 10 to 25 Volts , depending on which country you are in ) ... this is not an efficient way to use this transformer , but OK for testing ... because it is reasonably SAFE ! .. ( tried - n - tested ) ........... DAVE™🛑
Awesomesauce! Thank you for the video. You sir, just saved me about 200 bucks!

Just put 120v to high voltage and get 17v on primary coil
@enzogaibisso96915 ай бұрын
Yes exactly
@smokey382917 сағат бұрын
Yep. In his schematic, instead of going left to right (step up) across the transformer, go right to left (step down). The transformer can be used to step up or down voltages.

Bro. It will definately not work longer. It's just permanent joint. Magnatron filament's points always joint by welding Bcoz it will has to bear high temperature.
