Trainings are a lot better than Scrambles, but I'm glad y'all are at least coming around to looking at Trainings.

Loved the episode. Some big things that we need with the introduction of scrambles. Generic trash hate. Each color gets a rookie that is "on play: put 2 cards from your opponents trash to the bottom of their deck" And generic tamer interaction. Just like back in bt7, the game has improved it's tamer interaction, but we need more basic effects for each color.

I feel the biggest problem I have with this game is a lot of the best decks feel very consequence free for very high return, imperial and galaxy being my biggest examples. Lunamon in raising + any digimon on field first turn, memory is non existent for the game now. Imperial got daiken rookie turn 1, can’t do anything, especially if they got memory champs. God forbid they hit a removal option in security that removes partition paildra on second check so they use the memory champions to dna into another partition paildra swing twice. It’s what I also feel about ancient grey and garu, resolve the loop once and you’ve put all your resources where they need to be and not left any liability on field. Purple hybrids are more tolerable than what the ancients did imo since it’s slower and the variety it encourages in mill, yellow top end or those dumb beelstar mother control decks is really cool. Really though the colour imbalance is the biggest issue in this game, and I genuinely feel the only correct term for digimon card design is “irresponsible”. Cards like ex7 hexeblau are the epitome of that, why is the colour of multiple unsuspends and inherited jamming on every level 4 given a creature with sec +1, tamer hate and a floodgate in one? Purple getting memory for just doing things already beneficial to it through gobli, labra and cerb is wild. Mirage is 2024 snake eye, just replace handtraps with floodgates. Look at a mirage deck through this lens and you’ll see what I mean

I’ve been asking for a magna x hit since its release, but Bandai seems to have doubled down on the whole immunity thing with the bt20 leaks and what they’ve been doing with all of their royal knights as of recent. I love the game, but it’s definitely going in a direction I don’t like atm. I’d almost rather play a go fast matchup than stare down one of like 5 different walls my deck or even my entire color cannot interact with (yes I’m a red player lol)

It's been rough without this channel. There are a few good ones, but there's a lot of filler nonsense as well. The energy/mood and overall decent audio help keep me engaged. On the topic of deck profiles, I agree that only certain decks done with a decent level of comprehension and/or results should become profiles. I just watched a Hyper Colosseum video where the deck was admittedly net decked, like why bother at that point? I enjoy content even if I'm not playing a particular deck as long as it has real insight.

Something I been trying to express to my shop/ players is take a break if you need to. Any card game, if you play something to much of, you start to build a level of hate/ frustration. I get it though, you build a routine and made good friends. Players need to understand the card game isn't going anywhere (well for now). I took some L's myself but after taking a long break, reflecting what i want from this game, and just learn to have fun. I found I been going to locals every week again and doing pretty well. Burn out is real. It can happen to anyone who enjoys a card game.

Love to see yall are back. Going onto the blue and purple. They are the same coin but on the opposite sides. Blue and purple have become generic piles that take everything that the other colors due but better. And ignore what make the other colors unique. Also fuck magnamon and huankun bt19 shit is stupid.

brother this is so based, havent watched yet, but have seen the list, have you tried any other dark masters varients? The best i could do was 18th with my ace focused one.

I would recommend the other DemiMera (BT15) instead. It works much better with the Dark Masters package. Although, you'll go plus on cards; so it's Mirage meta dependent.

Red is also dangerous to choose when playing 3GAs. Less likely than green or black, but they could possibly Ophani or Valkyri Ace you. Purple is always the best option. Can't even Mastemon ace you unless you change Ladydevi to purple.
