Yo, how do I add an image between the layers?
@nathanread798028 күн бұрын
in davinci, just use merge nodes in serial order of whatever layers you want from bottom to top. So if you wanted to put something in between the layers, you'd have the original clip first, then a merge node adding the in between thing, then another merge node with the foreground layer.

for color corector 2 when I changed the gamma to 10 it made the clip very white and not normal like yours, do you know why that is?
@nathanread79802 ай бұрын
@@partygoer420 just make sure you have the two nodes in the right spots and that the gamma values multiply to 1 and it should work. If it’s being weird though that step isn’t really necessary tbh

One thing I've noticed is that Resolve does a really good job of preserving color information across different nodes. Lowering the Gamma to 0.1 prevents the motion blur from interreacting with it because of how little information there is and then you can bring it back later. I never knew it extended that far but I believe that's the general theory of it.
@nathanread79805 ай бұрын
yeah davinci was originally just the color tab and they developed it into a full editing program but its still the industry standard for color grading im pretty sure
