yo, this is sick!! didn't know you could edit stuff like this in resolve, i'm so glad i don't need to install vegas again lmao. i've followed your velocity and motion blur tutorial and i was wondering if there's any tip for removing the warping, especially for trickshotting clips (where there's a lot of spinning). keep up the good work!!
@nathanread7980 Жыл бұрын
short answer is no but the format matters a lot. if you have higher fps clips that will help a lot to reduce the optical flow warping. also if its being finicky just try messing w the time stretcher graph a little bit until you get the least amount of warping. you just can slow it down too much or else it starts to look weird.

bro ive been obsessed with ur edits, cant find anyone teaching the effects you used especially the one after the bubbles in the beginning. can u drop a tutorial?

Thx man! The bubbles were actually really really easy I just keyed out some stock footage and then hooked up to a displacement map

hey man could you make a tutorial for m0rosis montages or a valorant montage with less aggressive transitions/songs? the 40 min tutorial was super helpful but it's transitions can't be used for most montages
@nathanread7980 Жыл бұрын
my technique for doing transitions is the same throughout all edits. you kinda just gotta do what looks good to you though there's not like a formula. the only thing with slower songs is that its harder to find where the beat is sometimes
@atharva9092 Жыл бұрын
@@nathanread7980 I'm very new to editing so I don't really know how to do it, I mentioned m0rosis for what I'm aiming for
@nathanread7980 Жыл бұрын
@@atharva9092 yeah it looks like he has more a darkzoink style but the transitions are still the same as what i do, just a bit shallower curves. some specific effects u might try are automating some type of dent or lens distortion and also add film dust it looks like m0rosis really likes those effects
