Too good. I am brand new to rc cars and car printing, just wondering, is it easy to get parts, print and does it get too expensive to print compared to buying a car from the shop?

All models from 3Dsets are very easy to print, has excellent quality and detail. I already have 2 of them (buggy and reaper), they looks great, working on them and also driving is fun. Price of the filament for printing (about 3 kg) is the cheapest part, electronics (motor + controller, servo, receiver, battery...) and mechanical parts (hundreds of screws, shocks, toothed belts, bearings, tires...) are much more expensive - for whole functional model you need at least 300€ With exclusive parts like Hoosier tires or top quality oil shock absorbers it can be double, or about 500€

Could I just 3d print the model and use it as a toy for figures? Not sure if you need certain rc parts to make the wheels work like a normal die-cast.

Yes, you can build this as a display model. Just don't buy motor and electronics parts. I recommend buying bearings and shocks so the chassis stays articulated even without RC electronics.
