Could I just 3d print the model and use it as a toy for figures? Not sure if you need certain rc parts to make the wheels work like a normal die-cast.

Yes, you can build this as a display model. Just don't buy motor and electronics parts. I recommend buying bearings and shocks so the chassis stays articulated even without RC electronics.

Not what I was hoping for but I still Send my compliments to 3Dsets. What concerns me is the 0% infill method, I assume that it will be done in Vase mode maybe? is it 2 walls or just 1? if it's just 1 wall good layer adhesion must be a must or one small hit and you end up cracking the sides easily, but nice job anyway.

It is not vase mode, there are 2 walls and hollow volume or 4 walls and no volume at all. In other words, all parts with 0% infill are specifically designed and has integrated internal reinforcements inside. The result is similar to a real metal bodywork.

@@3dsets709 I see, very interesting. hope to see other great designs with this method.

The 0% infill is actually quite an advancement! In the past 3Dsets took over supports and now they control the internal structure too. I used this method on a boat model earlier this year. It is the way to go if you have to time to design. @3dsets709 Please continue to set the gold standard.
