Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in connection with the war on Gaza. The warrants were issued "for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024, the day on which the Prosecutor's Office filed the applications for arrest warrants", reports a note speaking of “a widespread and systematic attack against the civilian population of Gaza”.

Austrian here. I was there recently and I never addressed immigration. If anything, they started talking about it first and I went along, telling them about immigration in my country. Immigration is a touchy subject in Austria too. 😅

The real Australia is out in the rural and regional area's not the cities as they are pretty much the same anywhere you go. Manners cost nothing. Aussies are welcoming and friendly and not scared of their neighbours. Our democracy is different to yours (for Americans). We love supporting the 'underdog' in sport and in general. Our country people are like yours being the salt of the earth. We are a dog loving nation. Never call an Aussie a 'dog' as this is a jail term for snitches, rats and other socially undesirable people. Please don't call us Sir as most of us don't have knighthoods. We love cars especially V8's. We call our prime Minister by his nick name respectfully. Please leave wokeism at the airport and use manners. Enjoy your visit.

An additional to #1 is if you do find yourself off the beaten track, walk heavily and make noise. Any animal that hears you will make themselves scarce. Also, if a local points at an area and says "Don't go over there", don't bloody go over there!

Agree with many of the comments especially about swimming at Patrolled beaches, many people have died at surf beaches because of "rips", also don't rely on technology to get you from point A to B in remote areas including mountain areas as well as the dessert. Also drinking alcohol in the street is banned and you can be arrested for that, even if you are not causing trouble.

What refugees??? WHAT REFUGEES??? They are 99% men of fighting age and purely economic migrants and because they are trying to get into a country illegally makes them criminals. So call them what they are - CRIMINALS!!!
