Great tutorial Joe. I did get tickets to see you at the Llileshall watercolour event 2 years ago but caught covid. I was on my feet but felt it wasn’t fare to go and maybe spread it to someone who wasn’t so healthy. Glad I found this. I started water colour after a bad back injury in 2004 and found it relieved pain better than medication. But was back at work within 6 weeks after back surgery. In between I got into acrylic painting, but always admired watercolour. I did have a dabble again two years ago but couldn’t get away from my acrylic style. I hope to get back to it but have had trouble taping down the border as it seems to lift-in places . I noticed you staple around the edge. Is that the way to go.

I don't have any text in the way after a second or two, because it's only there if I interact with the screen, as an aid. Are you using a translating screen? If so watch it once with words to explain artist's teaching and again with it turned off.

I love drowning and painting portraits but I've never liked what you call abstract art, every rugs I used to clean my painting brushes they look as good as any abstract paintings! no hard feelings! that is just my humble opinion!

I have fallen in love with abstract art. Always thought realistic painting mattered. Now that I’m older i have found how freeing it is to spontaneously pant with no intention… I am so glad to find your channel… there is so much feeling in the process but in addition when you view the painting it actually is an emotional experience. 🙏🏽
