I just watched this for the first time. What an epic season. There were like 20 very interesting characters with well crafted story arcs. Usually most shows just have 1 or 2 interesting characters. Rye was great for the very short time he was in it, but I don’t know how well it would have worked if he stuck around all season, I don’t feel like he really fit in with the Gerhardt family

I was thinking about mentioning Jason’s great singing voice when I watched this. He has a playlist on KZbin, but for the benefit of those who’d like to look him up, his surname is actually Gould, not Streisand. My favourite song of his “The Way You Look Tonight”. The arrangement of it is sublime.

Wow, always appreciated her beauty and talent as an actress, but, damn, Karen is smart and sassy and I very much like. She wasn't fazed and went with the flow and even pushed forward on her own. Impressed, Because Norman's shtick was making folks, fish out of water, uncomfortable.

Even at that time, Barry explained, "We are not a disco band. Just because a person can dance to a song, it is not a disco song. And Robin adds, "Do you think How Deep Is Your Love is a disco song? " But still those stupid jealous people targeted them. This was a great injustice. Robin and Maurice had gone to England. While Barry is at home in Miami, he receives a phone call from Barbra. However, he feels so bad mentally that he doesn't know whether to do it or not. Of course, this is where Linda steps in and encourages him. But although Barbra's album was successful, their 1981 album Living eyes did not receive the recognition it deserved. Very sad and frustrating.

I completely agree with you. Otherwise, they would completely take over this sector. However, they had to work hard since their childhood (especially Barry) to get here. A well-deserved success. Even more success was deserved. Barry is one of the world's greatest musicians. (sorry but in my opinion he is the best) There is no one who writes lyrics like him. And his vocal range... Also the most handsome man in the world❤️ He's like a dream here 😍😍

@@Melke.2024 Это точно!

@@Melke.2024Yes! He’s MAGNIFICENT here! He appears and from then on it’s all about Barry. Not because Barry demands attention but because he commands it, by his mere presence. Command is different from demand-which Robin fans like to accuse him of. “To demand respect is to tell others, “You will respect me!” or otherwise threaten or punish those who do not act according to your wishes. To command respect is to have others observe and admire your actions of their own volition.” He walks into the room with his fierce mane, blazing smile, Alpha masculinity, vibrant personality, and commanding presence, and zoom, everyone goes right for him, and feels like they’ve arrived when they speak to him. And Barry got right in there and laughed and played right along, even taking initiative, like the side eye, the ultimate showman. How can you not love and admire him? Instead of feel enmity toward him, like some others do? Barry Gibb always got the attention for a reason-he just commands it. Some people just walk into a room and change the atmosphere. He could no more stop being himself than Robin and Maurice could stop being themselves.
