Glad we’re staying true to the primitive in primitive weapons season. Do you guys not realize that the more efficient the weapon the less opportunity we’re gonna have for future of hunting!?

Great review as always, Cody. I'm seriously thinking about the 16's. Has anyone had success wearing eyeglasses with these? I wear them full time. I'm a little concerned about FOV. Thanks.

When he started talking I thought what he meant is that there is a clear overhunting of mountain lions going on which can really only be explained by mountain lion hunting occuring without regard for the actual urpose of hunting which is population control.

I'd like to see you guys use more cow calls. I know, another OG!!!! Those bulls that come into 80-100 yards will come into 30-50. Try that Primos hyper lip double to locate instead of bugling all the time. It will work so much better. OG just trying to help.

Looks boring. Spending a bunch of money buying points and a tag to sit around on your butt and look through binoculars then walking up and killing something. I’d rather spend my money skiing, biking or climbing.

Jeesh Brady that was a pretty gross look you gave that kifaru bag, is it not gritty enough for you?
@brady_j_miller3 күн бұрын
Haha. I have no hate towards Kifaru. I've never used a single piece of their gear, so I don't have many opinions on their packs. But I know lots and lots of people love them. Aron's been trying to have me on the Kifaru podcast for a long time now, and our schedules just haven't meshed. Hopefully, we will get the podcast recorded next week.

$175 for a cheap phone case and a couple of pieces of plastic with magnets. I wonder how much these KZbinrs are getting to push this overpriced garbage
@GOHUNT3 күн бұрын
Don't let the price fool you, it's pretty amazing how easy it is to use. And the magnet system is pretty much perfect. We do sell other options if you're looking for something else.

Awesome video and bull. 11 years in Nevada isn’t that long in comparison to most. What kind of gun set up did you have for the hunt looks awesome
@GOHUNT8 сағат бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video!! Brady definitely still got lucky on pulling the tag, but being a Nevada resident, he definitely has a draw odds advantage. Brady was using an Arrowhead Rifles muzzleloader in 45 cal. It's their Orion package muzzy with a Revic Exo adjustable muzzy sight on top. Shooting 300 grain NSR bullets with Blackhorn 209 primers. And the stock is a McMillan Game Warden 2.0. It flat out shoots!! Brady highly recommends this setup.

Such an interesting situation. In Australia we can only hunt invasive/introduced species such as deer, pigs, foxes etc. People would be quite happy if hunters eradicated them all as they cause huge environmental problems, but a lot of hunters are quite conservative and don't over hunt to keep the sport alive.

Totally agree on the scoring system you talk about. I try to shoot 50-100 rounds a day from my Matthews Lift 33 weather permitting . When I built this Bow this year I put on a Shot Sense and it keeps track of everything on the app on my phone. It is a little pricey but in the long run you will see your shooting game improve.

Don't be one of those people disturbing Elk in their winter range in February. People who do this are ruining it for everyone and legitimately harming the herd.

Trail likes Sitka, and so over the years, he's acquired a lot of pieces from them. But he does mix and match brands from time to time. The great thing, there's lots of great options when it comes to hunting clothing these days.

Wow, carry a product line and know nothing about them? Been using my Eberlestock mainframe for 10 years and it has no wear, packed out dozens of big game, and is still the best load carrying pack I've ever seen. You like packs with a dedicated shelf and modular? It's literally called the Eberlestock Modular system. Crazy to post a video about products you know nothing about.
@GOHUNT4 күн бұрын
As you noticed and pointed out, Trail and Brady are not the guys in the office that use Eberlestock packs. So they don't have deep thoughts on the packs. And with those two not using them, they don't have much to say about the pack, but realize there are people out there like yourself who love them. Other people in our office who work in the e-commerce store are well verced in these packs and have used them with great success. Which is why this is an honest look and Trail and Brady would agree with you that they don't know much about Eberlestock. Appreciate you watching the video.

My hunting style is making it back to the camper or camp spot at the end of the day, so pack load isn't huge. But GoHunt videos are damn inspiring for taking it a little farther.

Man, Brady is way less cringy when he’s the main dude. I don’t know if it’s a power/expertise gap issue or what, but when he’s with Brian Call and Ryan Lampers, he acts and speaks in a weird way.

Haha. When I'm hunting with those guys, I'm only really on camera for a bit, so when I'm on camera with them, I guess I'm just there as a way to provide a random joke. But those guys are brothers to me! And since it's their film, I don't try to put myself in front of the camera which like you see in my normal films, is what I'm used to. It's all good. I'm glad you can find me a little funny or cringy at times lol. I do appreciate you watching and giving me a good morning laugh today :)
