50-plus mpg is possible in many situations, but to consistently get that, you have to drive it a certain way, keeping the efficiency guage needlt below the halfway mark and keeping it in electric mode as long as possible. If you gas the engine even a little, the MPG's go right down. Winter weather drops the MPG's significantly

You need to look at your dashbooard for your trip summary after you turn the engine off, do not go by the average mpg shown while you drive. The end trip summary is the most accurate, I got 65 mpg in city. Hybrid shines in traffic, I get 50 mpg on hwy. The end summary stays on for a little bit and you can take a pic of it if you want to keep track of. Of course, each trip would be different, especially if hwy and city driving is combined. Glad you like it, I think is a great car. Enjoy it!

It pretty quiet. At lower speeds it's VERY quiet. Lots of well-thought-out rubber seals around all the doors, and even around the front hood. Substantial amounts of seals around doors- was really impressed by that. Shows they care.

This is good for mostly freeway only at 75-ish MPH. I’m seeing reviews where there’s more city driving involved and the reviewer getting 62+ MPG. Damned good for a classic sedan!

Absolutely. These hybrids should get higher MPG in city driving. Definitely a very efficient vehicle and Toyota did a great job.

In winter that number dropping to low 40s highway for me. Engine has to run a lot to stay up to temperature and to heat the car, seats, steering wheel, defrost, etc.

I hold my top speed to 65 max, you might get better fuel mileage that way.

The powertrain is combination of a gasoline engine and a battery pack (I.e. lithium ion) that powers electric motors. The electric motors can move the vehicle on their own, without the engine, for light throttle applications, and then the gas engine will turn on to a) assist the electric motors when the driver is going faster b) recharge the battery. You can sit, coast, and also accelerate without the engine running, which allows for a quieter driving experience at times. Also, the electric motors can perform regenerative braking to capture electricity that would otherwise be lost and also help charge the electric battery. Summed up you get great fuel economy- likely high 40s or 50 mpg or so for this SE.

That's not a 2024; it's a 2023. The reason I state this is because The Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is standard on ALL 2024 BRZ's including the ones with a manual transmission.

Good “Signia” (“estate” in Japan), but Toyota really blew it with the single low-mounted headlights. Compare the Crown Sedan, with multiple LEDs. I also don’t like the glass roof… safety issue and these have been known to leak with other brands.
