The 2025 Camry will come in LE, SE, XLE, and XSE trims and they will only be offered as hybrid vehicles. You can get it in front-wheel drive with 225 horsepower or all-wheel drive with 232 horsepower. This Camry may be THE Hybrid Sedan to buy once it is available for sale. Should be in showrooms in the Spring of 2024.

@@dabiri69 i'm in the same boat as you, but not too worried because of EKR custom made leatherette covers. I got them in my 2020 Corolla SE and you can't even tell they're covers. So happy this camry comes with a black headliner, instead of the outgoing tan headliner.

Looks great,.. I put a deposit on the 2024 Corolla Hybrid SE AWD. $35,000 Canadian I wonder if I should have chosen the 2024 Corolla Hybrid LE AWD $33,000 Canadian I could have saved $2,160 when comparing SE vs. LE MSRP.

What does hybrid mean?

The powertrain is combination of a gasoline engine and a battery pack (I.e. lithium ion) that powers electric motors. The electric motors can move the vehicle on their own, without the engine, for light throttle applications, and then the gas engine will turn on to a) assist the electric motors when the driver is going faster b) recharge the battery. You can sit, coast, and also accelerate without the engine running, which allows for a quieter driving experience at times. Also, the electric motors can perform regenerative braking to capture electricity that would otherwise be lost and also help charge the electric battery. Summed up you get great fuel economy- likely high 40s or 50 mpg or so for this SE.
