Great News! The orchestra director just emailed us, the alumni, that CR South Orchestra is invited to perform at the White House on December 22nd! And the White House Visitor Department said that they really like this Phantom of the Opera performance! Professional recording of the performance is available in the orchestra website.

I don't get why the 'Order of the Phoenix' score was reviewed so badly.. I think it's beautiful!

It's lovely to hear/see that Nicholas Hooper's excellent work on the series is being played 'out there.'

I'm bloody impressed with the talent and/or practice here! Good on ya, CRHSSO! Pace and tuning are usually the toughest things to nail doing film music, but at moments you all come very close indeed.

I'm not the kind of person to pretend I'm better than you because I wear a uniform... But seriously, I WOULD LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT SINGING THAT OUT OF UNIFORM. If you want to lead America and you want to act tough and sing cadence you best go to OCS out of college or transfer to a military school. Otherwise, playing call of duty does not give you the right to act like a soldier.

Terrific to see a choir and orchestra of young people making such good music. However - it is too fast. Parry marked in his manuscript - SLOW with animation. This orchestra is Based on Elgar's. Parry's own scoring is much more sober and gives greater prominence to his wonderful melody. Elgar made is orchestration some year's after Parry's death!

It's all good,but from 1:12 it becomes magical.
