Zoom h6 just sat on the floor and a couple of cameras that I know nothing about as a friend of mine recorded this in Croatia! Most of the clarity and stuff is from the zoom h6 with no mixing, the thing is a beast !

@@PitchPirate i also use a Zoom H4n pro for my fingerstyle recording. But yours, the Zoom H6 a Bit distant from your Guitar i never thought the Sound will still capture well despite being on the floor.

@@alepwalling yeah it’s been my go to for like 6 years now I love the thing. My “one percent” video is pure zoom h6 condensers with no editing whatsoever Need to get back into playing and recording 😅

It’s actually an Lr baggs m80 , the recent comes from the guitar also using a tonewood amp :) Whole thing is just the original audio recorded from a zoom H6

Lovely relaxing atmospheric tones with continuity, story, restraint and a fun mix...just enough tension and relief to let the mind wander and enjoy..for me old Celtic tones. That's just me rambling on but this is truly a very nice job and he's so humble.. calling it "a little something".. Posted a comment back on your first great Vid here on YT and went looking for More. Sooo glad you are out there believing and doing. You should be touring with Mike Dawes and Mike Gallaher....and with your lovely inspiring and restraintful playing, would make a perfect counterpoint to their particular styles. Now that would be a truly great Acoustic TRIO. Thanks again for sharing your Music....very healing for these "Strange Times".... as Dylan would put it.. Rollo.

Hey man , thank you so much for your thoughts and ears ! I love mike Dawes I see him as on of the top acoustic players in this style, my favourite songwriter in the style would be Jon gomm I feel in this style there is much repetition and more artists that I dislike than like on honesty so I’m doing my best to try find a unique voice amongst everyone in this style :D

Hopped on YT for Review/Demo's of the ToneWoodAmp now it's had more than a few years to settle in and happened upon your YT Vid. Thank you for sharing this absolutely brilliant and hypnotic tune Pitch Pirate. So Reminds me of the lovely old mournful and evocative laid far back Celtic vibe....as in early VtM..just lovely and very skilful understated playing. I have been playing guitar for well over 55 years, so feel that I have more than a few cents worth of comment here. You have that very rare skill of restraint in your approach and rendition, usually only born of a true and natural creativity.....You def understand and apply the..." Less is More" maxim. Just keep that belief going in your heart...and You Will overcome Anything. Def subbed and listening... strewth ....where was I... ? Thanks again. Rollo.

Thanks man, o genuinely try to aim for that. The key to my songwriting is a focus on the subtle, I have many techniques that are really interesting or fancy but I refuse to use them until there’s a song / part that genuinely needs them :D

@@Joel-gy6wm even if I could spare it, it’s not in working condition believe me 😂 The power connections are screwed and if it gets nudged (which it does a lot when it’s stuck to your guitar) it cuts out and shuts down I currently only use it in live streams like a pedal (not attached to the guitar) Though I plan on actually making my own version of them this year :D

At the time I was using an m80 but the guitar has the AP5 pro in it , nothing I’ve seen or heard or played yet out does the ap5 it’s just fuxking perfect , it’s all I use now

Hah, to be fair, I think my music will always be free and not my job, I just love doing it :) I’m working now, will be recording around 8 new videos on the 23/24th and uploading it all 😂 My schedule is unreliable My music is a little out there But I’m happy if you’re happy ☺️
