Why should I have to cough up a couple of grand, just to code a video game. ARE you game developing for a studio, or just showing off features? I personally will not waste my time, with any iteration of UNREAL 5. Not until the bugs are worked out, and the engine is more stable. I am still getting over 100 FPS, on High to Epic settings, on a 12th. GEN I.7 , with 32 GEGS, and a 3060 Ti (8Gegs) . That's running in 4.27.2 . In the same project, in 5.3. , I get blurry textures, stuttering, and a frame rate between 10-20 FPS. WHY? , should I be using this version, when the performance is garbage? Lumen, Nanite, and Global illumination , sound great . But, what good are these features, if they choke out the engine? Most people can't afford a 4060-4090 card. We need to have an honest discussion. I want to see "Ultra Dynamic Sky, and Fluid Flux, " running on 5.4 , on A 128 meter game grid, with procedural foliage in use. RAW performance? How about practical, and realistic?

good idea, but you need better GPU to really test the CPU performance clearly you are bottlenecked by the 4070 when 5800x and 7800x3d have the same FPS

1:15 compiling shaders and opening project is mostly a CPU thing so i think if someone making a new build he could have a use of a cpu with a lot cores

Can you help me decide between the 7800 XT and the 4070? I’ll be using it for gaming and game development in UE5. I’m a beginner with 3D games and modeling, and I’m unsure about which one to pick. The 16GB VRAM on the 7800 XT seems great for future-proofing. If I were to use ray tracing at a medium level while making games, would the 7800 XT be able to handle it? I'm just a bit confused about what to buy.

Thanks for the awesome content! But unfortunately for me, dlls is not supported due to not supported. please see the various logdlss* categories in the developer tools -> output log for more details. I just can't get it to work...

FG is a BS. As for upscaling quality - you showed very static scenes with no movement and slowly planning camera angles, but if you actually add dynamically moving objects and characters you will see inferiority of FSR when comapred to any other solution. FSR is plagued with artifacts and ghosting etc. Image quality is very poor.

I want to ask something.. so currently i own a rtx 4060 ryzen 7 laptop with 512gb storage in which i got 475 gb in hand storage .. when i worked with unreal it crashed because of storge so shall i buy hdd or increase internal ssd . I am low on budget so which will be better option for both unreal and video editing? Please help

For unreal projects use a hdd if you on budget. For video editing I have no clue if it takes advantage of an ssd.

If you are content creators then stay with nvidia.. wanna buy then buy 4070 ti super or 4090 ..if you wait a little longer to see rtx 5080 and 5090 ..( hope price don't touch the universe)

@@kshitijakutal5117 Futureproof is meaningless in Gpus unlless you're buying an 6 Gb card. Lets say 8 for you, Just select Nvidia if there is not really tons of price difference, Like 100-120$ If you're gaming Nvidia is better choise because of 0.1 and 0.01% fps values plus Dlss and Reflex and other setting, In other hand you have fsr in AMD which is clay, Latency bla bla thing whic is buggy and loses to Nvidia. If you Game Developing, ofc Nvidia bro, just don't even think about AMD.

@@kshitijakutal5117 Nvidia RT cores are way stronger than AMD's Idk about 7800XT Rt performance in Ue5 but if you inspect inside of Nvidia and AMD gpus and read, You will understand Nvidia RT cores are way better posted.

It's great to see comparisons in productivity applications. Most reviews focus solely on games, but in games, CPU performance doesn't make as much of a difference if the resolution is 4K.

GPU ram is very important. Thats whats holding me back from larger worlds. The 8gb in my 3070 ti is not enough for larger maps. Like the matrix city, I can't even open it. And rendering has worked so far but always ends with red text of "out of memory."
