A song that transcends time itself, I once had an older cousin who was like a brother and he loved this anime he was not the smartest and he fought a lot but he was always funny and caring on the inside, he reminded me of yusuke a lot growing up we watched this anime almost everyday after school, he was so cool to me, he developed cancer at age 22 and he wanted one thing, to watch Yu Yu Hakusho with his little 13 year old cousin, he passed and I know it sounds silly but this anime helped me cope and feel like he was still here, I hope he is enjoying his life as a spirit detective thank you Yu Yu Hakusho for helping my cousin live on in my memory, whenever I watch this anime i feel a Smile bomb creeping on my face

coming home from work and seeing my kids watching this after I showed it to them was one of the best father to childhood things ever

This anime... I don’t know why but I just can’t forget it, every year I re watch this anime, it just resonates with me so much. The characters they feel so... real. They’re so genuine and likable, they just stay close to me beyond the passing of time.
