Nice work, did they make the same tape but with carbon fiber for 1/24 scale ?

I just bought this kit (in boxes, I have boxes 1-4). Not started as yet but keen to know if anyone 'would' age the car and various components (heat discolouration on the exhaust, coloured springs etc etc) instead of just assembling the parts. The kit is so detailed but feel that the overall car might be improved upon with modellers skills to paint and age. Its my first foray into such a build and am truly looking forward to it.

ack you got the firing order correct but didn't snap the glass bowl retainer on to the top of the fuel pump! snap it on! snap it! As an owner of multiple Volvo Amazons I'm watching these videos because my model hasn't arrived in the mail yet. But the detail is mind blowing. I won't even need instructions.
How do you remove plastic chrome parts without damage so you can replace them
@TheScalemodelingChannel11 күн бұрын
Hard to tell without having your specific model in hand. All models differ from each other. Sometimes you need to drill it out from the back to release the pins. Other times its a case of brute force or gentle strategic prying with flat tools

Great work Tom, this Audi looks amazing. Was great seeing it getting built in one video too, well done.

While i think you won't have that much of a use case. An idea you can try is printing some buildings

I’d be curious to see your masking process for the trim, the only way I’ve found to follow the window trim is to tape over, press it into the groove with my nail and then run a knife along the line, but running a knife across the newly finished body feels wrong..

Great job. But I am no a fan of kits that don't have a proper motor and trans. The motor is what makes these cars great, to exclude it is a sin.
