Going to do this with my grade 5 titanium Balisong handles. I can’t blast the ti cause I don’t have a set up, but should I stone stone wash the handles first?

Is the black titanium electrically conductive? I am curious what kind of oxide layer you have managed to create.
@RichterScaleRings8 ай бұрын
I’m curious too. It seems to have fairly low conductivity.

Cool process. I like how you fit the gold. I might give it a try with solver and see how i do.
@RichterScaleRings8 ай бұрын
Let me know how the solder works! The difference in thermal expansion between the 2 materials might make a good fit difficult

It will probably warp to some extent. Enough to make it unusable? I don’t know. If you decide to try it let me know how it goes!

I have a ring with my deceased grandfather’s finger print and death date as well as a necklace with my grandmother’s fingerprint and death date. Hers is 11 years old while his is three. It’s a tactile way of having something with you if your loved one that you can feel. I love both of them.
