Excellent! Are you left handed or filming with mirrors? I am lefthanded, and have a list of lefties to which i would like to add you. How to contact?

Very beautiful! The Liuto-Forte website says this is the tenor lute in e. I see ten strings but I don’t see an extension for the a and b (double head). What model is it exactly? Merci!

Is there a reason why the D minor lute sounds much 'stiffer' than the other lutes from the same company?

Beautiful interpretation Christopher, thank you, and love the Liuto Forte and the single courses, so transparent and singing.

Can I also compliment you on your excellent damping technique! It's something not many lutenists / multistring guitarists do as well as you but it is so vital to playing an instrument like this so well. Fantastic playing, gorgeous music. I love it.

Vos interpretations de Zamboni sont une inspiration pour moi. J'ai un archiluth (avec les courses doubles), et je pratique cette Sonata en ce moment. Le Fugue est plutôt difficile, votre interpretation est sublime!

3:51 oh yes this is exactly what i need. Really beautiful playing, true master at work. I think the archlute with single strings is the queen of all lutes. I am curious what tension and strings you use. Also on the descent it seems like you skiped one or two strings, is this the regular tuning? Edit: please forget the last part, i made a mistake when reading along the tab
@christopherocher7812 жыл бұрын
Thanks Felix for your comment, which I appreciate all the more as I know your very interesting work on youtube. The stings for each Liuto-forte model are mostly designed specifically by Pyramid (very readily available). Their tension is between that of a guitar and that of "historic" lutes, which is a godsend for those who play both guitar and lute. If you want to know everything about Liuto-forte, the best thing would be for you to visit the site (blue link under my videos). But I remain at your disposal! Yes, the arciliuto is a wonderful instrument, but the Liuto-forte in D is just as wonderful (or even more so!). It uses the baroque tuning. You can hear it especially in my videos "Celtic music" and "Weiss".
@FS.2772.guitar2 жыл бұрын
@@christopherocher781 thank you very much. I use pyramid too on my 11string guitar and quite like it. Their plain nylon is rather bright sounding so it fits this instrument and music perfectly. I agree that these lutes all sound great, i once played a renaissance liuto forte at a friends house and was totally blown away. To me the archlute however is the better choice because you have the option to play those low notes, even if you dont they will resonate and enhance the singing quality even more

I love your interpretations of Zamboni--such beautiful music and you bring out the lyrical quality so excellently. Are you by any chance left-handed or is the video inverted (I am a left-handed lute player myself, though I can't reach the heights you can, and always interested to see others!)
