It's all based on the FastLED, Adafruit NeoPixel, and Arduino MIDI libraries. Syncing the LEDs with MIDI signals from a DAW took some tweaking, but seeing the lights react to the music in real-time makes it all worth it!😊

In a previous video, you can find a good comparison. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5KqeICjntJ8jKcsi=IY9oKMTmrWGs6Pr0 At lower frequencies, most of the sound comes from the exhaust of the compressed air, but as the frequency increases, the sound pressure decreases, and it becomes almost entirely the noise of the solenoid operation.

Why do you have 5 Arduino Nanos for 10 steppers? I have 7 motors and only a single Teensy 4.1 with plenty of pins to still use. But nice usbMIDI.PitchBend() you have there!

I think it would work better without the backing track, just the stepper motors :) maybe use some other electronic device for a drum too
