shipper box was fine, no dents, crunches, not even dirt. the wear under the plastic shrink wrap and the fraying in the corners was clearly packaged like that as the plastic was fine.

@@psnbulletdemon138 I mean the big tear and the broken cases on that second set I understand was not okay but that dink on the first set was not big or severe at all. I would have personally stuck with that ad that kind of thing can happen in shipping

@@psnbulletdemon138 hope you get sorted mate!! Nothing worse when this happens! Been watching some vinyl special edition unboxings and the packaging to protect the expensive box sets is INSANE!!! 🤯 you hear of movie collectors to often getting stuff delivered wrecked!! 🤩🤩👍👍

I would be 100% with you on that except I have ordered from Scream in the past like the Night of the Creeps deluxe edition and the box to my Ray Cameron figure was crunched. Also the fraying on the corners under the shrink wouldn't be there if it was just shipping. At the end of the day the damage could be on Scream or Amazon, I have had issues with orders directly from Scream and there are still widespread issues with the set anyways that shouldn't exist such as the discs.

thats awesome man! I will say though, the frayed edges and torn paper was under the plastic wrap so pretty sure it was packaged like that by scream factory. Dings and even dents I can believe are Amazon's fault but not tears and wear/frayed edges.

@@psnbulletdemon138 Yeah, I had only heard of the other defects such as the disc anamolies relating P3, JGTH, and JX, or the double discs, but after the news of replacements being sent out, I opened mine up and was pleasantly surprised. Still hope you can get things fixed with the set. I've been enjoying it and feel once the replacement discs are sent, this will be quite the definitive collection...unless we somehow get unrated and uncut HD masters of every film in a future collection, though THAT is unlikely. XD

@@devilkicksanji2 I'm actually curious if my best buy has it. I hate ordering online. Even stuff straight from Scream Factory have shown up damaged like my Night of the Creeps Deluxe set. The figure was crunched. Contacted them and they had me send a pic. They sent me an unused flattened replacement packaging for it. I still haven't switched the packaging yet as I don't open the retro clothed figures.

I ordered a few steelbooks but the site refused to let me pick up at store so I could inspect and interchange if wanted, so if my order shipped late, I'd go to best buy, hopefully find the steelbook, buy it, then wait for my mail one and see if it was ok, and finally return the other bought one. It's a hassle. I recently got the Back to the Future 35th steelbook collection and 2 of the 3 sets had the first film with a line cut across the spine, yet they were perfectly sealed, so it was a factory thing. Thankfully I got the only one with clean steelbooks, but that's just cause I got there early lol

I agree. Both boxsets were packaged securely and the one that was torn and broken had all the damage under the shrink-wrap still along the edges.

Yeah this is the risk you take with ordering online when you can't see the condition of the item before buying it like you can in a store

Dude I'm sorry man, are you returning yours? When I ordered my Night of the Creeps collectors set straight through Scream Factory, the figure packaging was crunched.

Are you talking about the actual shipping box? The shipping box was fine. The actual box to the boxset was destroyed.
