I was wondering if it's true that the average size of a European home is about 1200-1500 sq ft? Basically, is the typical "forever home" over there the size of the typical American "starter home?" I see so many people here in the US complaining about small homes, but I read a statistic that most Americans live in 2-3 bedroom homes of 900-1500 sq feet. I've actually been inside huge freshly built houses, but I find that anything above 2000 sq ft is creepy. Anyway, I think your home is a nice size for a family of 4. I admit that my family would need a garage and large storage area, but I would be glad to just find a reasonably priced home right now. It's rough.

Your Dutch accent is actually really good. I can hear you're not Dutch more from the sentences and vocabulary than from your pronounciation. I've heard people that are in the Netherlands for over 10 years speak way worse Dutch than that.

Good to see some footage of you again. I've seen some of your work as a face painter. It's great to see your creative side. I'd love to hear you talk more about that business and artistry. Your Dutch is actually quite good. Maybe your vocabulary is still limited, but your pronunciation is pretty good. Keep it going. It's really lovely to hear you speak Dutch. Don't wait to long with another update. Thanks for this one.

@@stacivanthoff4874 Hi Stacy, what do I want to know about your business? Just about everything you want to share😁. But to get you started: Is every design your own? Is the design developed with the client? So what's the process? Are you working for local clients, all around the country ...? So what is your reach? I've seen your work on both children and adults. I imagine there must be a difference both in the process as well as the design wishes. How do you comply with that? If I'm right you've painted pregnant bellies as well. That must be special. And there must be a story there. How did you come up with the idea of this business? Did you bring some experience from the US? Maybe there is a story in the materials you're using. I am curious. Do facial features have an impact on your design choices? I don't know if it's possible, but an impression of you actually at work with clients would be interesting. I could go on for a while, but I hope this helps you to get started. I'm looking forward to what you can bring. Thanks in advance!

Oh honey, if you only knew that you ARE living your purpose .. there's nothing MORE important than raising kids to become productive members of society. I now feel SOOOO sorry for my own (50s&60s) mother. I do NOT know how she managed to keep us 3 children AND the house clean and still managed to smell clean and fresh herself! She made sure that dinner was on the table at 6pm when our dad came home from work (so that HE could relax). That poor woman also worked full time at a job that took her an hour to drive to and from. I could cry right now just thinking about how hard her life must have been. I'm so glad you made this vlog so that other stay-at-home mothers can connect with you. Yes, you MUST be able to get some time to yourself (even tho hubby needs HIS attention too). The only way you can do that is to make an APPOINTMENT with yourself to do just that. Each family member will need to have their own time alone too or a play date or family outing. If you can't go out to work yet because the kids are too small, put your feelers out there for like minded moms in a similar situation. You NEED adult conversation with other human beings your age. Btw, I too gave up the Dutch tradition of spending my birthday catering to everybody else while slaving in the kitchen all night. No thank you. All I can say is thank God for KZbin and video chat .. your generation is so lucky to have that.

Thank you for your beautiful comment🥹💕 I always love seeing your face pop up on my videos!!! There’s a huge amount of gratitude that comes with realization of what our Irene’s did for us.. I too think of how my mom held it together for years! How?! It’s truly incredible what people are capable of. And I agree. An appointment is a wise idea! I will try to get some time for myself more regularly. And good for you giving up the tradition you didn’t like! Life’s to short to be exhausted on your own birthday 😂😂😂😂
