How in the world do you get the lines to snap together cleanly when using the mirror feature? I have to go back and zoom in to clean up the lines where they meet.

Great video. You make it look possible. Your pictures are so beautiful and you truly inspire me to get back into my artwork. I'm curious what IPAD you use and is it an 11 inch or 13 inch? Also, what pencil are you using for the IPAD?

I hope you’ll have a video tutorial on what settings you’ve been using for your printer and what are the things you’ve learned about printing your crafts? Like how to avoid smudges, how you maintain the quality of your printing, how to do printer maintenance and color and printer set up? ♥️ this will be such a great help! ❤️

As a person who likes to make comics and drawing traditionally and not digitally, I experience art block a LOT and I think I've experienced it for more than a decade. The reason behind it, in my case at least, could be depression, anxiety, stress and the feeling of pressure. Also, the fact that I spend too much time on social media or internet in that matter has a huge impact on my creativity, that's what I learned recently. I am creating my own comic book series, but what slows me down is art block. I don't get proper, original and creative ideas and inspiration(s) for the story of my own comic book series. If I do, they're only minor ideas. What helps me is my friends' support. Another solution to my problem is to spend less time on the internet, allow myself to draw garbage and learn new things regarding to art. I should go to museum and watch new movies and play different video games for exchange, I've been stuck with certain movies and video games and not trying anything new. Maybe that's the issue in my life, when it comes to art block. Anyway, I found this video and some other art block related KZbin videos useful and I will try any methods told in the videos I watched to overcome my art block. In other words, I'll try my best.

I'm a digital artist trying to learn how to color with alcohol markers, and when you said you started with high lights that was so backwards to me it made me laugh, its fun to see how different art processes can be
@Kelsobunny9 күн бұрын
When using the yellow to go over the dark purple does it bleed onto the marker? If so does it stay or go away pretty quickly?
@fructusillustrations7 күн бұрын
Same! With alcohol markers I've found that it's better to go from lightest to darkest because the lighter colors do not show on top of darker colors. It's taken me some practice to get used to it but it's fun to learn a new way to color :)
@fructusillustrations7 күн бұрын
The very end of the tip may pick up a bit of the color but I usually have a spare sheet of paper to scribble on to remove the color and it goes away rather quickly in a few strokes :)

Hello Ma'am, I have visited your KZbin channel, Your videos are amazing and I love every one of your videos But I found some problems. If you solve all these problems in your channel then you will get double views, double subscribers and you can earn double money from your channel. Do you want to talk about problems for a while?

Is there anyway to set the machine to cut out the border of the sticker sheet AND kiss cut the sticker designs? Any feedback would be awesome ❤
@fructusillustrations7 күн бұрын
You could cut using the kiss cut setting first then go back to the canvas and hide the sticker designs, leaving only the sheet and cut using a setting that would cut all the way like heavy cardstock. Hope that helps and makes sense!

Thanks for such a great video guide! I was wondering can we publish colouring books illustrating famous characters like that of Disney, Pixar, marvel or any such company without landing into legal issues ? If yes, what’s the procedure?
@fructusillustrations7 күн бұрын
I'm not experienced with that since all of my work is my original art but I would assume that you would face some level of legal issues unless you had a license from the particular company or brand. Again, I'm not familiar with all the details and procedure so I'm not sure what getting an official license is like so you'd probably find more info online :)

Good video! It’s hard to grow on social media as an artist me personally I just love posting Timelapse’s of my drawing of art on here, do you have any tips on how to grow?
@fructusillustrations8 күн бұрын
My advice is to keep showing up as regularly as you can. You don't need to post everyday but a couple times a week helps and whatever you post, try to make the best quality of content that you can. It doesn't need to be perfect and it doesn't need to be the best thing you ever made but it helps to be intentional with what you make. Also, I think that telling a story or talking about your thought process can be helpful to keeping your audience engaged which can help you grow :)

Thanks for the tips! Just a suggestion about the website: the pages where you’ve got white type against the bright red background are really hard to read. The red is dazzling! Dark or black type against white reads the easiest. Cheers. 😊😊

I love your illustration work BTW. It's very original and creative. Thank you for taking my suggestion in the spirit it was intended...to take your website from "nearly there" to "arrived!". All the best for your career and business. 😊😊

May I ask, what application do you use to make your illustrations look high-quality? Are the images vector-based or not?
@fructusillustrations13 күн бұрын
I use Procreate on my iPad to make my illustrations. Procreate isn't a vector based app but I make my canvas to size and avoid resizing or rescaling my art

Hello, 👋 about story telling on a YT channel, I am wondering, how can one do it without telling "too much" of private stuff ? But maybe its a complicated question 😅 Thankyou for this video !
@fructusillustrations13 күн бұрын
I think it varies per person but I think you can still tell a great story without having to go too far with the personal details. You can tell a compelling story and just include the inspiration for the idea. Like what sparked the idea or how you brought the idea to life. The process itself is a story and I think it's totally possible to tell a story without divulging personal info or details you're not comfortable sharing :)

I know this might sound stupid, but I’m gonna ask the question anyway in the beginning part of this whole tutorial you said to remove the background before you start how do you remove the background in procreate before you have an image?
@fructusillustrations13 күн бұрын
No worries! It's really simple actually. Just open up your layers panel. The bottom most layer is the 'background color.' When you uncheck this layer, it becomes transparent and as long as you leave it unchecked when you export, it will remain transparent!
