Engineering work I would have enjoyed, but females are expected to be the librarian for men's work instead of the designer. When I did innovate new ideas other people took the credit which made it difficult to both get the good work and also difficult to get paid.
@marshalepage53303 күн бұрын
I'm innovative and intelligent, but without the social skills to get what I want I see no reason to continue in that field, now that I'm considering returning to work. Maybe it's impossible for women who don't start their own company to get the good work.

At bare minimum I would be fine with computer programming, just not engineering department file librarian. I hate that job. I know I'm perfectly organized and other people lose stuff, but it's a horrible job.

Offering me more money when they won't give me the type of work I was promised doesn't fix the problem that I wasn't given the work I wanted. They would have to double my pay for me to put up with work I hate. Even then I would do it for 4 years then quit.

Damn, this is 100% relatable to me. Being always enthusiastic about art and creativity as a kid, but not going for my goals because of fears and money issues. Full time engineer currently, searching my way back to my true self and claiming myself back. doing what i love every evening, despite all of my fears, I finally feel like I am on the way to choose myself… You are very inspirational and I praise you for your courage and choices. Everything ended up to be exactly how it had to be done. You did a very great job and this is super exciting to see you progress. I wishing you all the best ❤

Does anyone know any good platforms to start a sticker shop as a minor? Most websites I’ve tried have an age limit if 18.

I just found your channel and I am loving your content. Creating my own stationery, having my own business, those are dream goals of mine that I want to make happen one day (thank you for sharing Skillshare as well)! Your art is adorable, and so fun, and I think that's really special. As for your next coloring book theme...hmm...could it be related to Valentine's Day 🤔❤?

I'm graduating with my degree in architecture in a few months, I feel empty and lost because I realized how I'm not willing to do this shit for the rest of my life. My true passion is graphic design (illustration) but I've already invested so much time & money in architecture that it feels like a stretch to leave it to pursue my true passion. Thanks for the insight, hope everything works out for you.

I've watched this video a few times now. You've helped me decide to get started. I got it all set up but then immediately disabled it. I'm scared. But I'm making plans and hoping I can push myself to do youtube videos and a podcast. Thank you for sharing!

How do you ensure the border for the stickers is smooth enough where the cricut wont do jagged lines or choppy motions while cutting it? Idk if its the brush i use but im having this problem and when trying kiss cut i end up with shredded paper, any tips?

This is wonderful, thank you for sharing. I was actually looking for the binding process, which you had outsourced. But, your set up and work flow processes were well worth watching the entire video anyway lol. 🙏 It would be a great feeling to load your shelves with your own books that folks wanted to purchase. Best of luck to you, your work is great.
