Hue interior is top of the line, I have 3 hubs and over 120 various Hue products now. Seeing this confirms my suspicion regrading the quality of their outdoor line. I went a different way due to the cost. The cheap plastic feels cheap as hell, the sealant is visually shy of comparable products. The price point warrants a quality weatherproof and UV stable housing or it’s a bust. Thanks for taking the time for this video!

the brand is not important, it's depend on standard, for outdoor you must choose something with ip65 or ip 68

Its a lamp made for outdoor use. They sell it as HUE outdoor. So why make it only ip44?

I have received a response from Phillips customer service in which they point out that this outdoor lamp is IP44, so splash-proof. In other words, yes water can get into the lamp. “Thank you for contacting Philips Lighting/Hue customer service. We are happy to help you further. I just tried to call you, but unfortunately I didn't get an answer. I'm sorry to hear that one of your Resonate lamps has broken down. However, I must inform you that these have an IP44 rating, which indicates that these lamps are splash-proof and not completely waterproof. This may prevent water from entering the lamp. Below you will find the link to our website with the Resonate lamp where the specifications indicate that the lamp is IP44 splash-proof: www.philips-hue.com/nl-nl/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-resonate-muurlamp/1746430P7 Trusting that I have informed you sufficiently, I wish you a very nice day.” But Phillips, it's an outdoor lamp, right? And it can rain outside, right? Nowhere in the instructions does it state that this lamp may only be used under a roof. Or that this lamp should not be hung on a wall where it will be exposed to rain and wind.

I drove this in July of 2022. One of the most beautiful places I have been to. I live in Tennessee. I live 20 miles from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Love that place also.

i just came back from this scenic drive and it sure is amazing, may i ask what you use to secure whatever your filming devise on the windshield. by the way, thank you for such a clean windshield. ours was disgusting and nothing came out as pretty as yours.

Yup, east to west is the best way. Driving it in person was exactly what you described. Come out of that tunnel and you're in a different world.

As a Californian, I made a point to drive into Zion for the first time from the East entrance; well worth it. Simply world class.
