I am just testing one and if you record a guitar and a voice on top, but say you need the guitar layer for a solo later, without the voice... you're fcked.

I’m trying to figure out what he means by out of ohase tones. These pickups are similar to the Fender ‘57/‘62 pickups of which none are reverse wound and all three pickups are identical. Can someone inform me on this?

That's not the banana head stock. It is the hockey stick head stock. There's a difference. The Baretta's have the hockey stick head stock, and the '84 has the banana. When you see them side by side you can see the difference.

I am thinking about getting the OC818 or OC18, as I am not sure how useful the 818 will be to me. The main reason to spend more is this stereo recording, but it does not sound right even with this plugin, so having another microphone for the mid could solve this. But what I am thinking about now is using only the OC818 as you did, but placing it top to botton, not left to right. This should also create a stereo effect, but it will not be bass heavy on the left as it is now.

Something I absolutely hate about these videos is that the speaker doesn't put his mouth where it matters. What is he talking into? Not the microphone that is being showed off!

I loved the demo, although I would have liked to hear the organ sounds and the pipe organ sounds. I'm also a lover of the brass and the wind sounds. This keyboard goes well with a Zoom R8 Digital Recorder. Although it's January, it's already on my Christmas list.

Not a Tele owner but was always interested in that guitar, with mixed feelings about it... especially the overly bright examples... until now as I realize that's THE Tele sound I like the most and was looking for without being able to pinpoint what it was given the huge variety of models. Darker, with midrange, but still clear and very deep. Odd that it's the "original" sound and not the most common one. Isn't that a very unique Tele compared to most other ones? Is it a kind of sound exclusive to the "50ies" Teles? Or are there other comparable models? All excerpts sounded fantastic, but Walking on the Moon at the end was incredible.

Apart from the Nirvana lick this seemed very, very premising. Could you do a longer video with all the classic bands geeatest hits, just a few seconds of each. Ten bands maybe, especially big metal names

The only difference between this and a Warwick is only where they are made. This bass is every bit as good in sound and build quality as an American made one or Japanese made. That’s it.

I would love to try a set, they don’t seem to have any in stores where I am. You had mentioned they feel like really good practice pads, would you say the rebound is comparable or diminished from say the td 17 heads? They sound amazing being played alone.

At 1:00 you're hitting the cymbals differently. You're smacking the normal one and softly hitting the quiet one. That's not a fair comparison.

Another great indie-rock electric 12-string track, that very few may have heard: “Flying Machine” (1992), by the British band The Stairs. Sadly, the studio version is not on streaming, but you can find it here on YT. Terrific record, combing Byrdsian 12-string jangle with a raucous garage-band vibe.

Bummer , excellent instruction, but if this is the Blues sound I'm going to get out of the GX100 I ordered, it may not even make it out of the box. 2:40 ackkk!! The top blues players did not use this horrid little distortion sound. Boss, Line6 etc, still haven't figured out how to make a processor that gets clean, fat bell-tones that SRV Hendrix Albert Collins and a dozen of the other great blues players were getting, but they tell us we can get any tones we want out of these processors. 🤔😄😢

can i play oriental songs on Roland Juno D? Thank you
@jwelsje23 күн бұрын
Knowing Roland, I would say yes. They have a website, where you can always download free extra style and sounds. When I bought the GW7 many years ago, I went to their site and downloaded the oriental and extra Latin styles. I was pleased I could play Arabian music, Indian styles like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the Bangra styles, but I could also play Brazilian Lambada and Brega, together with Reggaeton etc.
