Is it possible to add cymbals and pads to this module kit?

Can you please tell me what kind of headphones you were using?

I'm thinking about buying one of these. Here's my question. I currently have a Tama acoustic kit that has a felt beater. Is that ok to use on this kit? I know that felt shouldn't be used on a mesh head but I can't find any info on what the kick drum is made of. Or maybe I can turn my current beater and use the plastic side? Thank you
@MannysMusic_Online Жыл бұрын
Hey there, the Roland KD-10 kick pad has a rubbery mesh pad, using a felt beater straight onto it will likely cause the felt to wear prematurely, you could certainly use the plastic side, but if you prefer the feel of the felt we would recommend you stick a Pedal patch, such as a Evans EQ Black Nylon Patch, to the KD-10 pad to protect the felt. Hope that helps!

Hi! Thank you for your video. What driver do I need to download to record audio? Can I do multitrack as well?
@MannysMusic_Online Жыл бұрын
Yes it can do multitrack recording! We can't put links in KZbin comments, but if you Google search TD-17 USB Driver you can easily find the driver downloads for OSX and Windows on the Roland website🙂

Agreed.....great review. On this kit--could a second floor tom be added? Also, could an additional cymbal be added to this kit? Is there a cross snare click part of the included sounds?
@MannysMusic_Online Жыл бұрын
Hey there! In the TD-17KVX2 configuration there's one free trigger input on the module, so you could add a floor OR a 3rd crash, but not both unfortunately. And yes there's lots of cross stick and rim shot sounds onboard :)

The true... Roland need to improve the sounds, all sounds crapp. The triggering is the best in the market.

I can't believe they want you to pay like $1,500 for drums that still sound so robotic. When the price is triple a real drumset it should sound like the very best of a real drumset
@RobskyDev6 ай бұрын
You clearly don't understand how much technology and different factors come into play in building an electronic drum set that would imitate the real acoustic kit. And also, buying edrums - you usually cannot have acoustic drums due to volume or space. Electronic drums are great for its own set of purposes.
@Coryiodine6 ай бұрын
@@RobskyDev none of that excuses the price tag. They should be more affordable if they aren't as good as the real thing they are imitating.
@RobskyDev6 ай бұрын
@Coryiodine you just proved my point - the price tag directly equals the amount of R&D and all the tech that is required to create such a piece of equipment.

You can’t build a kit that sounds that good for 1500. Cymbals alone on my kit are $3k alone
@NickMcCАй бұрын
I cannot believe this is as expensive as it is. What an absolute joke, Roland. It sounds like a toy.
