Good Lord, between the Rogue scenes and this one, the movie made so much more sense. I don't know if it was studio interference or bad decisions by the filmmakers, but this movie could have been improved dramatically in the continuity department if they hadn't butchered it the way they did, because this scene explains where Stryker got his head start with his program as well as establishing why Mystique was at the river.

First saw him in Mud with Tye Sheridan.
