I just leave my boots in the indoor and change them when I get there, they are my prized possession I dare not harm them 💎

Thank you so much for this video! So I have been riding for about 2 years now and my trainors have told me that I am ready to lease. I told my parents and suprisingly they were supportive, but they dont know much about it. Im definitly going to show them this video! Im going to try horses tomorrow and see if any might work out! Im so excited, I just hope there is the perfect horse for me. <3

Hi i’m think i’m going to start leasing and i was wondering do i do a trial for the lease and a vet check? if we do is the vet check after the trial? and how much money is too much for a lease? thanks!
@faithashley45252 жыл бұрын
Typically you should try the horse out at their barn first, then vet check. That way if you do a trial week and the vet check doesn’t come back clear they can’t say you did something to their horse. As for the vet and farrier, yes you would pay for it just like the horse is your own.

soooo i’m buying a horse in 9 months (low key far away still) and i am boarding because we do not own a barn.. anyway there is an indoor and outdoor arena that i can use anytime and the boarding cost is only $250 per month. ☺️

I find some of these things to be true, but goes to show me that Horse girls tend to disconnect from some peer issues & miss some basic social interactions/functions growing up, which are suplimented with a healthy equine companion; horses are pretty cool but not as popular as they used to be; in social circles outside the countryside, it becomes hard to connect with your peers if they don't do/enjoy the same things. For example, in my area there is no middle ground for horsemanship & owners; the poor, immigrant population will keep horses in their small plots in the county to preserve heritage, & the rich elite who own acreage & maintain the status quo. Absolutely not a thing a "regular" person does or has the skills/financial situation to maintain. Horsemanship is for the rich & that disconnect is well earned because of the nature of the hobby leaves room for that social dissonance; only a select few people enjoy the privilege horsemanship, it's on the *horse girl* to show society how we are more alike than different. I enjoy the heck outta horse memes because there is a fair bit of awkward social interactions with horse girls fitting in in school settings & I get a good kick outta watching people try to make themselves look tough for their hobbies too! All in all, it's good fun

Can you ride the horse whenever you want when it’s an off site lease or any lease where the horse is not your trainers?
@laurenmouw11373 жыл бұрын
It really depends, but I’d say you could probably ride as often as you want with an off site lease.

My parents gave clues that we were going to lease( without actually saying DO YOU WANT TO LEASE A HORSE, if so, you can) for tommorow at the barn, I have ridden her a lot, I groom her at least 2 times a week, feed tons of treats to her, she also loves us, and always wants us to stay( yesterday she pawed at the ground because she wanted my mom to stay BTW I couldn't go) so I was not there) UPDATE: I GOT A HORSE YEAH

Good video! You're one of those people that make me feel like I'm not doing enough for "my" horse, like those pads to stand on... I've seen those, but I have no idea how they work and for what, but I still feel bad for not doing it... You're obviously doing a great job with him.
