She's good but I never heard Whitney say "my mama is..." "my auntie is...". She new she got doors opened for her but her talent broke the rest of the doors down and kept them open. She didn't need to show off her family members to be relevant. This just rubbed me the wrong way.

She'd mentioned them now and again but never made it a selling point for her career. This felt like name dropping. I don't know if she meant it like that but it's how it came across to me.
