I rode O.G. and the New O.G. for the first time this weekend and lived both of them. I need to ride both again to see which one I like best. I rode "New" on my first run and old O.G. for my last.

@@StefsMTB not sure what you mean when you say you ride new and old OG. The new one was built over the old one. So there is no more old OG as far as I know. I could be way off on that.

@@venacava_mtbthe guys I rode with must've got the names mixed up then. We rode this one in your video last. Gets confusing when they begin in the same place. Strava shows one run O.G. to Ranoa Flow. Another runs shows New O.G.

Hell yeah sky park is so fun. Last time I rode it with my son and Mountain Misfits. We had a blast and Matt from Misfits was our tour guide. Good cookies and bbq too.

@@omarortiz6872 I think 140 is a sweet spot for and all purpose bike which was the idea for this bike. I did realize though that I need to stiffen my suspension or add more air after this ride. If I do get a different e-bike in the future it will be mostly to just try something new.

Thanks for the helpful tips. Do you think iMovie is not a good tool to use with youtube? Ive only used that so far, and still need to figure out how to make a custom thumbnail lol! Need to get back to making some videos again.

@@sdtrailrider8070 it’s been a long time since I’ve used iMovie but my feeling is that if this is something you want to commit to eventually you’re going to want something more capable and it would be good to just start with where you’ll end up. That being said if iMovie is all you got right now that’s fine. For Thumbnails I would recommend Canva. It’s also free and cloud based so you can access almost anywhere and their mobile app is just as capable.

@ I think our group got separated from you guys but we hit MATCO, ladders, bullfrog, the new trail at the top not sure the name, Og trail and the new DH trail

@ yeah when you get to the top where ladders is look left and that fire road leads to the new DH trail. Is the best trail there in my opinion.

Nice! Those flow jumps must be tough, because you're a good jumper from what I've seen. It sounds similar to some of the newer stuff at Greer.

The new youtube meta is a bummer. I mean even WITH shorts... It's an absolute slog that promotes frequency and not even quality :/ A video clip I posted went viral and did 100k+ on instagram and got to the front page of reddit twice, getting 50k 'votes' and who knows how many views. That same clip posted to youtube shorts? 14k views lol. And it gets those views in ~24 hours and then comes to a dead stop. Not only are you rewarded for posting daily, you are PUNISHED heavily for not doing so. Even if you have content that does well. Crappy system. Sadly I feel like I can't adjust. In no way can I produce a solid amount of content to post daily shorts and like a weely video worth watching lol

I ran into a KZbin executive in Tahiti. He told me the same thing about shorts. No matter what, get them out daily if you can, clip from your existing videos because it links directly to the video itself it was pulled from. You won’t make much from them, but you’ll grow your channel 🤙🏻or…you can grow some crazy sideburns and get popular from facial recognition 😁 Some of my most viewed videos I can’t stand myself 🤣I still don’t get it man. Just do you, do it for you and do it for the love of mountain biking 🤘🏻I do it for Beer $$$

I learned after a while that even if it’s not a clip from an existing video, you can choose to link any short to any video to drive traffic to that video. Your facial recognition comment is true as well and something I wish I would’ve included in this video. People are shy to be seen or heard on camera but I think it’s important to show your face and share your thoughts in videos because it makes the channel unique. Cheers man!
