I kind of wished they played around with the stories. I know it’s a fiction but it still has to make somewhat of sense. Like example: In the “Dragons” short film, Hanzo seeks to honor his supposedly deceased brother, Genji, leading to a fierce battle that culminates in an explosion infused with their dragons’ power, disrupting the balance of yin and yang. This event could send both brothers back in time, where they encounter a young Kiriko beginning to discover her powers. Instead of guiding her, Genji and Hanzo could mentor her, helping her understand her abilities and the need to restore balance. Together, they would embark on a quest to address the source of disharmony caused by their conflict, returning to the present with renewed purpose and understanding. Or something to explain their reunion it doesn’t have to be what I said.

So the beginning part of this chapter when they're in that weird dreamscape area and Noah is looking at his past lives, this is something Xeno games do alot. There is a heavy emphasis across pretty much every Xeno series in existence on an endless cycle of recurrence, whether it is called the endless now, or eternal recurrence, or just endless reincarnation. It all effectively means the same thing. A cycle continuously plays out infinitely for infinite times infinite numbers of lifetimes until an anomaly appears to break it. All of the Noahs and Mios that are shown to have lost their lives existed at different periods of time. They didn't always meet, but any time they did, they always eventually met their end. One of those ultimately became Consul N (probably initially because he was fed up with it and wanted to try and change it, but over time just did whatever he had to do to keep M by his side, even if it meant destroying countless lives and committing so many sins), and this Noah (the protagonist of the game) is the anomaly that is meant to break the cycle. N is definitely a villain in this game and his actions can't be justified, but this sequence puts the player in his head and at least allows them to understand WHY he did what he did. It's similar with Shania. We saw her past with Ghondor and we know that the interaction they had where Ghondor threw her down simply for the crime of being a fan is what caused Shania to do what she did. Sena relates to her the most because if not for Mio becoming her friend, she very well might have done the same thing as Shania and in another version of these events, she could have been the one who betrayed everyone. My biggest issue with this scene, though it is minor in the grand scheme of things, is that I think that there should have been some kind of consequences that stuck. Obviously Mio had to survive because of the Ouroboros, but I think it would have been more effective if Ghondor and the others had gotten to the castle, only for the City to be destroyed while they were there. This way, you don't lose the hero but there is still a price for their victory. Then just relocate all of the City's facilities to the Agnus Castle and close off any tabled sidequests from the City permanently.

I would choose pyra. She is the kindest character in the game.

My headcanon: Kiriko is actually 33, but she's lying about her age because asians can get away with it (I am one, so I know 😉)

I thought it was obvious when she revived Niall when he died and she was feeling the effects of the Spirit Crucible Elpys when only Blades, Blade Eaters and Flesh Eaters were affected.

This is the one scene that I can give this game because I dont really like XC2 I think its the worst in the series but its got some things that I do like and this scene is one of them. Hands down XC2 has the best OCT out of all of them music is bangin
