I don't understand why people hate the fact that they come back in the end. EVEN THOUGH THAT IS THE CULMINATION OF ALL THEIR DEVELOPMENT. At the start of the game they wanted to die but through meeting rex and travelling with him they begin to enjoy life again. By the end of the game they wanted to live again, so killing them off at that point would ruin all of it.

Uninteresting and spiteful people that hide behind a captious personality in order to feel unique and important. They go against the grain because it gets them attention. They have deep-rooted resentment toward the traditional happy ending because they themselves can't relate. Then call it boring or unrealistic because deep down the enjoy watching other people suffer.

I think peoples issues with it are less because they lived and more because they baited us with the death and then brought them back with seemingly no explanation

My first play through I never really liked the part of the ending when pyra/mythra die just to come back in a way that's not really explained. Starting my second playthrough now so hopefully my opinion changes love all the rest of the game this part just didn't work for me
