I looked on line and yes they don’t even make parts to repair that toilet. With the cheaper bidet toilet I can afford to just replace the top for under 2k. But so far sending the top in for repair has worked out. 6k is way out of my comfort zone. Post if you find a solution.

My main object was to get it covered and be light enough to lift it off. I end up pulling it off every week for maintenance. Super easy and I’ll store it in my shed for the winter.

Yes a cloud is on my list. I have several room treatments from GIK. I have to get approval from the boss.

I have opened up my old betta. There is a circuit board and battery. But nothing that I could repair. I always send them in for repair or replacement. But that’s my skill level. I’m not good at changing diodes or resistor.

@@stevethetoolman2435 Did it seem like the battery would be easy enough to replace? Just wondering for a future repair since I can't find any videos on a Betta disassembly and I'm not touching mine until the warrantee is out and it has a problem. Any chance of a make / model number on the battery?

I just try and make it easy to remember. Whatever works for you. As long as you use all 4 sides of the blades to get 200 hours of use.

I have the Toto e350 elongated in cotton white. I paid 1250.00 for it years ago. If I replace it I’d have to go to the e500 or 550 elongated as the 359 is discontinued. At 1100-1400. So for me 175 is a fair. We’re did you purchase a e350 washlet for 350 dollars. I’ll buy 3 right now.

@@stevethetoolman2435mine isn’t as fancy as yours but I have 2 C100’s and they both have stopped working recently. So for me, paying $350 x2 initially and then having to pay $175 x2 for repairs doesn’t seem too economical. On a $1000 model it does make more sense but it’s too bad that there isn’t some sliding scale for the price to repair the different models. I’m already looking into other brands as I am not willing to invest this much into repairing the unit(s).

The Buchardt s400 go from 40- 20,000hz. My subwoofer takes care of the low end down to 25 hz. Maybe lower. The super tweeter picks up the highs my Buchardts can’t reach. It’s layers of music. You hear triangles and high pitch sounds in the recording while not being to much.

I looked at your toilet I believe a G2. All the electrical and water line are underneath. 2 bolts and it drops down. There must be a water shutoff nearby for your toilet. Then it should be able to remove like all toto toilets. If you’re not comfortable hire a handyman or plumber. Good luck! My daughter in law is from Sydney. But lived in North Carolina with my son and 3 grandchildren. Great gal!

Good job getting the 3 year warranty. Smart. From sending in to getting a replacement model was 2 weeks. So not terrible. Yea it does require sun to charge and yes has to be switched on to charge. They probably want it in water so battery doesn’t overheat.

Where do you buy the extra warranty?

Buy the warranty on the betta internet website. They offer several year options. 3 is the longest

@@stevethetoolman2435 Looks like I am going to experience the return process. As far as I can tell my Betta just stopped charging. Noticed the other day it was on, but just pushing itself into a pool wall with no lights flashing. The next day it was in the sun for 7+ hrs and never charged. I opted for the send back and repair over swap for a refurbished or pay for upgrade to new plus model. With 27 months still on the warranty and the warranty not transferable to an upgrade is was not cost effective. Hoping on a quick repair time as shipping round trip is like 2 weeks. The amount of pet fur and dead small insects on the top of the pool in just a day is crazy, I miss the Betta already. The pool pump runs at a low speed the majority of the time for energy savings so the skimmer is not verry effective.

If say the background is blacker. In my case I added a super tweeter as I wanted a little sizzle in the highs.

They have, Betta SE Plus.

@@OlGoodJoe Plus version has s the ability to connect to a wall charger. Could have used that during the extremely overcast Dec/Jan we just went through. Mine barely ran those months.

Hey Mark. Yes I kept the duel firing super tweeter. The expanded sound stage I get plus the additional sizzle at the top is amazing. My go to setting now with 600 hours on my Buchardt s400mk2 and 100 hours on the super tweeter are 10hz and -5db. Honestly I was about to drop 15-16k on new speakers but this rig sounds so good. I’m very happy. Oh and I stream from Tidal. Had my time with turntable 40 years ago. I was never good at it. Cleaning the record I would still get pop and hiss.

Upgrading to the new DMP-A8 would cost the same as the Denafrips Pontus II 12th and utilizing the DMP-A6 as a streaming transport. I’m weighing my options. I chose the Teddy Pardo after reading many articles about the company. They primarily just do power supply’s. Same as why I chose the Rel x-9 subwoofer. I’m sure the LHY power supply is fine. And thanks for subscribing to this old aviator!

There are several KZbin videos with aperion and magnepan speakers. Seams to be a popular combo. I have seen people put brackets to hold them to the top and another with small speaker stands to put them on the side.

Townshend super tweeter company sells a bracket that might work. It for quad Electrostatic speakers. I think it would work on your 1.7.

I took the back piece off and the power switch has no attachment to the inside, appears it is some magnet and looked like it was superglued by a 3rd grader on the back.

Yea I got someone’s reconditioned unit also. But I’m ok with that as long as I don’t have to skim my pool. All these robots break. None are perfect. Lots of moving parts to go bad. When mine goes out I’ll try to get a new one on sale.

I agree with you, I don't like skimming the pool manually either, that's why I purchased this product. The Betta unit purchased new cost $490, I expect more for a product of that price than a 1-year run fraught with various repair and replacement parts (you will need to buy the warranty for the year's broken parts,) and I expect a new replacement, not a used refurbished model, someone else's broken unit, when that expensive product fails not even halfway through the 3 year warranty period. Also when I compare my allo digi one signature to my node, it’s very very different in character. Very warm and relaxed! Node is engineered by NAD to sound worse than NAD.

My amp weights 45 pounds. I would have had to go with the indigo at 59 per puck or double the price of my pucks. 240 vs 120. Maybe someday. But the products are all great.

Like the audience cables. of all the tweaks that I’ve gone through like titanium cones, squash balls, rubber balls, ball bearings, East Indian Hardwood …the iso acoustics just nailed it.

Yes . I put it away for the winter. But it was working great till I closed the pool October 15th. I had leaves flying into the pool and it scooped them all up. Honestly it runs 24 hours a day. So if it finally runs out of warranty and breaks I’ll purchase a new one. You get addicted to not skimming your pool.

Google wood stove fans. Most come with temp Guage.

According to my son. There are no issues with wood decking. Hope that helps.
