Hi Gurru, thank you so much for sharing! I am going to move in MPH a couple of days later as member of Lucy Cavendish College. Wondering if there would be quilt and pillows provided or does this vary from college to college? Does the laundry room down below MPH also available to LucyCav students? Thanx thanx thanx : ).

Hello Catherine Duvet and Pillows are provided. You need to buy Covers for them. Yes, Laundry Facility is for everybody living in MPH

Hey gurru, any comments on Darwin students living @ Mount pleasant halls? Is it very inconvenient for them? Thanks!

hey man! The site is very well located near the town and by walk, Darwin College is 15 minutes away. MPH has good facilities and food stores nearby. Again, I would say it depends on your department. It is closer to West Site, the UniSportsGym, and Sidgwick Site. Darwin Students also gets to socialize in Eddies CR.

Would love to hear more about the student experience at MPH with regards to students from other colleges living there. Did you find it hard to socialize with Darwin folks while at MPH, Francisco?

Thanks for the video, mate. I'm a prospective mature undergraduate, so this video was very helpful. The rooms here actually seem very nice compared to your typical university accommodation. Would you say that the accommodation at mature colleges tends to be of a higher standard than the non-mature colleges, given that the buildings are more modern? Also, is Mount-Pleasant halls on the higher end as far as accommodation costs go, or are all of the rooms at St Edmunds of a similar standard?

hello, I would not say that accommodation in mature colleges is better than non-mature colleges. Accommodation really depends on how wealthy and equipped the college is. Again, it also depends on the location. Old Colleges have also built high-class accommodation off-site located far away such as St. Catherine, Corpus, Trinity has newer accommodation built away from the main site on Grange Road. Yes, in Eddies, MPH is a higher-end accommodation and is listed as Category 6 and 7 in a total of 7 categories in the college. Other rooms are not of the same standard but as you go up the categories, the price increases along with more facilities.
