It's probably viable, but I think you might want to run the event W-engine since soukaku doesn't give quick assists as easily as Nicole or Lucy.

Its still the same, the trick is to make sure soukaku buffs will go to the next 1 in chain attack/quick assist

Thanatos might be one of the worst enemies to actually get meaningful results against because the clear times really come down to how fast he gets stunned rather than how much DPS Ellen is doing since all W-Engines successfully killed him in 2 stun cycles. The results might look different if you're running Ellen without a stunner and are using her on field more. But as of right now it seems like all 3 are close enough in performance to each other that it doesn't really make a difference which you use. I'll try Nekomata next to see if its a good fit for her.

Nicole because Ben shouldn't fill the slot where you'd usually have a damage buffer. He gives 16% crit but IMO that's not as strong as the Def shred and damage amp Nicole gives. I don't have Anton built so maybe I'm wrong, but my intuition says Nicole would be better. I like nicole a lot because of all the supports right now she requires by far the least investment to get good results.

This stage isn't the best showcase of what Ben can do since the bulldozer is pretty slow. But against enemies with long attack strings or faster attack patterns where Ben can utilize the guaranteed crit and defense scaling damage from his W-engine and his mindscape 2 he really shines.

I have Butler and sometimes really thinking is he really was worth it, if you have 5 star pressureboo or sharkboo. As wel as Etherboo doesnt look like a decent 5 star option when you have Devilboo 5 with copies

I'm not thinking much about Bangboos right now because I feel like they are probably the least important contributing factor to your DPS. I'm also sticking to Butler and saving my boupons because I'm certain these 1.0 Bangboos will be the first things to be powercrept.

@@BladeCube1674 i have the same feeling, the only bangboo that is worth it is Revolverboo i guess, because he is accumulating anomaly and dealing damage at the same time, meanwhile Caesar will probably have raiderboo with pyro element so i guess it is only good investment

First, I think Soukaku's quick assist is pretty awful and I have Lycaon most of the time on field. I could be wrong and Starlight is actually just better but I don't have the W-engine exp to test that. Also it's easier for me to have W4 superstar and W4 starlight over two W4 starlights since I got a bunch of superstars from the gacha.

Glad to see this clear! This cycle of Shiyu Critical is a blessing for Corin, as it promotes the use of Stun agents and dealing burst damage over the stun window--which caters to Corin's strengths. I was able to S-Rank all stages except for Critical 7 (at A-Rank) in just one run. How insane is that! Granted, it's who you pair up with her that enhances Corin's brief damage window. Qingyi is a godsend for her; Rina, though a product of heavyhanded luck, also does well to buff Corin with the extra PEN and ER 4-pc set bonus. With an M6 Corin, Core Skill at F, and BA/EX/ULT at lvl 12, I was able to saw through the opposition, but I may have to settle on an A-Rank for Critical 7 due to time constraints. Again, glad to see this clear! I hope some people get encouraged to try out Corin from seeing this video!

without any team members, the game removes a lots of code on partners combo calculation (and increasd dodging percentage as solo) , making it easier to react to your dodge etc.

Absolutely not, for most people leveling to 60 is a waste of exp right now especially if you have other characters you want to build. If you don't though, by all means go to level 60.

@@dr.mohamedahmed8901 just focus on 2 teams to finish the end game content to be able to get more characters in the future to finish the harder end game content in the upcoming updates Level dps as much as possible and by "dps" i mean damage dealer (it can be piper) and the supports AT LEAST 45 just 2 good teams and you'll be fine

At least for this one, you probably don't. Most of the daze on Thanatos comes from parries so he's not very hard to stun. If Anby's your only stunner use her on the second half.

Some bosses take a long time to stun so having 2 supports (1 for attack buff and 1 for def reduction) is better for these types of bosses. With 2 supports your dps gets more uptime. This is especially true for the machine on the 2nd stage, a lot of your damage comes from impaired and when they are stunned I don't think you can progress impaired.

Better to skip Ellen’s second combo EX after the first one in favour of EX -> BA3? I’ve noticed quite a few people doing it.

I think its more damage skipping the second EX special because you get more NA3s which is a big bulk of her damage. You have the extra crit damage from her core passive. Now I'd still do the second EX special against multiple enemies since you usually can't NA3 multiple enemies at once, or if you're running out of time on the daze.

TBF, I've got 3 of the best 4 available agents for the job (Qingyi might be better) but this Shiyu Defense has crazy low HP compared to the past 2. Also I guess level 60 isn't a scam when I get to do clears like this.

i dont think its a scam cuz if one side can clear faster the other side gets more time so its still a good investment atleast for main DPS characters for supports yeah level 50 or 55 is fine for now

I think for supports level 50 already is a scam. Attack scaling supports (Lucy Soukaku) don't need more than level 40 to cap their attack buff already with good enough disk drives and stunner's damage isn't strong enough to warrant the extra level investment. Sure the daze multipliers go up with skill level, but I'd be surprised if most people aren't starved for dennies and spending those on stunner skills kinda feels bad right now.

blade just a quick suggestion here but you should probably swap out 4 piece for crit dmg for ur ellen. if u do so ur crit rate will be 50% while ur crit dmg is at 150% and I believe the overall dps is a little higher

Her core passive gives crit damage, so I think being slightly skewed toward crit rate is better. Also I'm not farming disk drives for a bit while I level my Neko and Piper so whatever disk drives I've got will probably be what I'm using for a couple weeks.

I did enjoy the video. I'm not in a rush to Min Max here as I've played too many games to care anymore but it's nice to see that even my ZY is missing about 1k attack alone. I just think I'm settling on Corins (second team) being Anby and Rina. Also good to hear about the horizontal vs vertical. I think I'll leave my Rina at 40 for now.

E matters much more than F. Upgrading F obviously makes your character stronger, but at this point we're at the peak of diminishing returns since core passives scale linearly and we aren't getting crit stats. It's also a lot of dennies. If you don't have anyone else who needs an upgrade, by all means unlock F but weekly materials are very limited so if there are other core passives you need to upgrade, I wouldn't do F right now. While core passives are probably the second best way to upgrade damage after level, I'd say its more a consideration of who else needs their core passives upgraded and if you even need the damage boost right now. This Shiyu Defense is probably the easiest one so far so you're in no rush to upgrade E or F unless you can't S rank it yet.

Hoyoverse will make defense agents meta fr I don’t have the patience to parry and dodge every attack at some point those mdf go insane on attack speed and one hit takes 80% of HP like bruh 😢

Yeah and in this Game enemies don't wait for their turn to attack, they attack all at once and attack fast non stop, like two enemies on you is already a difficult uphill battle. So yes, defense agents will matter for people that don't want to retry this stages a lot of times until they perfect Dodge every attack. Also notice how so far we have no healers, so every hit you sustain is very detrimental on your survival. I for once, like this change, make defense matter again.

@@An_dres_art Genshin you can just brute force your way thru difficult content providing you have built units and teams that make sense. Here in ZZZ, you still get a big advantage with built units yes, but perfect dodging and having optimal DPS Windows, a.k.a playing well, pays a lot.

This is an Asia server account that's separate from my main account with Ellen and Zhu Yuan. The account isn't interknot level 50 yet but will probably be close after I do the 1.1 missions on it. It's probably because Corin has a lot of dupes but I was surprised how easy the big mech was compared to when I tried to S rank this boss in the first Shiyu Defense with Zhu Yuan, and it's not even weak to Physical.

Prydwen calcs put starlight engine ahead so I'm not sure. I personally don't use soukaku's quick assist often so I'd rather use Cannon Rotor but that's just me.
