Beautiful bike !!! This was a famous bike back in the day a lot of people in our area had em my cousin had a 74 which was silver a boy he rode with had a 78 I remember in 79 the first year model XR80 they changed the gas tank but retained the same straight kick starter and muffler I had a 1980 XR80 redesigned exhaust and curved kick starter the 79s were also a deep red with the lettering and not the wing my 1980 they went back to the regular Honda orange red with the wings on the tank

I had that exact bike..I loved that thing. It was my only transportation for a couple years. I lived in Socal at the time so not bad but there were a few times I had to ride in the rain. Learned how to wheelie on that bike. 4 into 1 Kerker pipe and stage 3 jet kit made it kinda fast. Good memories!!!

I still rock my 84 to this day I replaced the stator with a alternator while rocking whitewall tires. Honda makes great gold wings.

I owned the exact model and year. Notorious for water finding its way into the carb bowl and keeping them from starting. Bullet proof, horrible suspension but the motor was like a tractor. Bought it in 1980 for $140. Great condition because the guy couldn't get it started.

My 4th motorcycle, circa 1987. Loved it. Really l8ked the drum rear brake, as it had good feel, and was predictable.....more than enough rear brake power.

Howdy,Nice bike.I just glanced at this video and two things I noticed, the bracket securing the silencer(pickle) to the frame is wrong, should be tube steel with the ends flattened, and secondly that is the wrong kill switch,it should be red, centre on and flip either way to off.

I completely agree. I believe they sell a CB400f twin and a CB400 Four in Japan. Just like the CB1300 that the Japanese police use. Very cool bikes. I found one of these locally that I am considereing buying...its a 1975 with 21k miles but it does have alot of surface rust. Has the same factory blue paint.

Indicators missing, seat not original - there should be no gap between the tank and seat, handle bars not original. Throttle grip not closing around the bars (will let moisture in!). 1972 front brake plate should be mat black.

I've been driving this exact car for the last 10 years. Super cheap, only set me back $500. I love the Takata airbags, they've never blown on me. I see this car is missing the recall stickers in the door jamb, and like the custom fresh seat covers without rips. I didn't know the 6 came with a nylon package! Oh, and the shimmer!! Hard on, wax off.

I just recently got hold of the 1984 V30. Vewry good condition, but I am having to do a bit of work to get it sorted. I have it running very well, but the choke isnt playing nicely. I have had to change the handlebars for flatter ones as the ones on it, sort of make my hands feel pulled in and I got a gammy left arm. I also have a messed up back and right leg and I do ideally need forward controls and this is mid-way controls and I thought that it would be ok, but alas its not as comfy as I hoped. Not been on it much at all however, so time will tell. I used to have the VT500 many years ago and I loved that bike, even though it was only a 500 and so this may be another one that I may learn to love. My only issue is that I have had lots of large bikes and now that I am disabled, I have to go with smaller / lighter bikes. I need to get my bobber ( Heavily modified Suzuki VX800 ) fixed up ready for summer - It overheated and now rattles like hell and so I dont actually know whats up yet?

Hello guys, a question for the likeable guy with long hair, how tall are you? Just to be able to classify the circumstances. I think you're not too big for the Speedmaster. I myself am 188cm, hence the question. Are you taller? Best regards from Hamburg / Germany
