i knew about the HONDA express & moped, i went by my Frieds house & his sister still has her YAMAHA YAMAHOPPER from 1982 with only 267 miles on it. I ordered her a new carburetor to get it running again as it looks BRAND NEW.

I had the UK version of this bike back in the late 80's and I have to say guys, the one you have there looks better now than the one I had back then when it was a lot newer, lol. The word 'moped' is a mash up of the words motor and pedal. So as such this can't really be classed as a 'moped' as; although it's only 49cc's, it doesn't have pedals, so it should really be classed as a low capacity motorcycle. Here in the UK it has the same status as a motorcycle meaning you have to insure it. I think road tax and MOT is free because it's classed as a historic vehicle.

me too as a 16 year old in the uk, circa 1985 used to top up the fuel for approx 70p
