Thanks for the detailed tutorial, fixed my left stalk not turning on high beams. Moved the moving plastic part with contacts on the bottom of the PCB back into place and now it works perfectly fine, also scrubbed the through-hole pins so hopefully the horn thing doesn't manifest itself anytime soon. Airbag was indeed a pain in the back, for anyone struggling I would recommend pushing the screwdriver in at different angles (towards the center of the steering wheel) and pulling on the airbag until you feel it letting go a bit, then you know you can push as hard as possible to release it. The little while codewheel was difficult to remove as well but using a tiny flathead screwdriver works great for separating the brass pin from the case.

В мене вишло зробити шоб працював сигнал при світлі ! Я понизив освітлення приборной шкали і бортового компьютера . Для цього треба включити наружне освітлення і регулятором який регулірує яскравясть освітлення приборной понели перевести в ліве положення так шоб запрацював сигнал .

Great video and really well explained. Every time I drive my wife’s Astra and hit the horn, the stereo just gets louder and scares me instead!! My question is this, and apologies for sounding a bit thick..if I do this procedure like you have and repair the CIM I don’t need to “re programme” it to my key so I? I know I would have to with a new CIM but it doesn’t like reset or anything while you repair it? Cheers in advance….

I had the same problem with the claxon and lights. I solved it as you did but unfortunately the electronic stability system symbol turned on and stays there. It seems that I moved the metal ring and I couldn't put it in its place again. Do you know a way to know where exactly one needs to place that piece on the module?. My second possible solution would be jusy buy a new CIM module. In that case, do you know if one needs to configure the module once installed or is it ready to function? I'm advance many thanks for any advice they you could give me on this problem .

@@Kubix2320 yes, i went to a mechanic specialized in electrical problems, they solved it in less than a week. They bought though a new (used ) module and had to set-up the configuration. So far, no more troubles.

I bought two micro sd and, about esthetic details, all looks legit but H2Test show both are fakes. Scares me how legit looks and that's explain why even certified stores are having troubles to know they're selling fakes cards.
