As a Toolmaker I've been comfortable setting up the old clamp-on with the swing-over file holder. Get the angle & the height to assure the desired rake angel on each tooth/side, etc. That said, I've sharpened the most chains with a HFT 'guillotine'. lol But this review made the Vevor look good, so thanks & I'll check that out. btw, I'd be surprised if the 'stones & diamonds' wouldn't interfit with Dremel's.

Dude thanks for this video! I’m one foot in the market for one of these things and after delivering a cord of wood with a 6 ft bed this past weekend (3 trips) it just shot up the list. Any idea what gauge steel? I glanced on the website and didn’t see anything glaring.
@KampsKorner3 ай бұрын
@@FoothillsFirewood it’s either 10 or 11 gauge. I can’t remember off the top of my head. I used to have side boards on my old pick up. I know exactly how ya feel man. I’m glad we got this one. It will hold exactly 2 cords stacked. I was borrowing my fathers trailer for a while when he didn’t need it. I decided it was time to get our own.
@FoothillsFirewood3 ай бұрын
@@KampsKorner I don’t normally deliver cords (mainly because there’s plenty of people who will do it cheaper than I will) but seldomly I have customers that just want my wood and they’re willing to pay full priced face cord x3 so I do it. In fact the next video I’m editing now is a cord delivery and the entire time I was doing it I thought man I need to get this dump trailer lol.

@@FoothillsFirewood nice man! In my area, selling in bulk is pretty much the only way. A lot of people heat with wood. That’s why I decided to be able to haul 2 cords at once. Thank you! The barn was moved here sometime in the 1930s. It was located inside an area where they built a reservoir. Some of the beams in the bottom of the barn look pretty old. All chestnut. I use Granberg 12volt bar mounted sharpener the most, but the thing I dont like is, it uses expensive screw-on stones that dont last very long...... The next one I use is Timber Tuff bar mounted 12volt, couple problems with that is, I had to put two more screws in it to hold it on bar so wont move, and I dont really get a good edge on tooth, so I mostly use it when I hit a rock with saw, it's good for evening up the saw teeth...... I also have Tmberline hand crank sharpener, it works good when teeth are new but as teeth ware down I cant seem to maintain the correct hook angle on tooth and soon end up with no hook, the is theres no depth adjustment except go to smaller bit. The other problem I dont like is, theres no motor..............
