Just wanted to let you know I in joy your videos I am a woodworker since I took wood shop in high school. I retired 6 years ago and had a special savings account for many years for a dream shop and I found out later my wife was also added funds to this account so when I retired I built my dream shop. I built all of our furniture over the years but I get the most joy making toys. My wife and I taught Sunday school classes for a long time and every time our class graduated I would make each child a comical money bank all different kinds characters some of these kids are in college now and they say they still have there banks. Keep up with the great videos

My husband uses a toothpick to dab glue in the wheel instead of putting it on the axle. He’s never had a wheel come off on the toy cars he makes. He makes a set of 5 and gives them away. He gives these to the kids in our church
@LuthersWoodworking14 күн бұрын
That is a great idea. Thanks for watching My wife usually puts all the wheels on, and yes, she uses a toothpick and puts the glue in the wheels.

Hello Luther. Really enjoyed your video. I have had trouble keeping my wheels inline and learning about the fence for the drill press was enlightening. I do not have a table set up like yours but I will try and clamp a back board on that will work. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to your next video. 🙂🇨🇦

I just discovered your channel and so glad I did. I really love how you make the names. I've been on the Seyco website so many times and have purchased from them but never knew they sold the letter guides. I guess I'm always looking at other items and perhaps it didn't register what letter guides even were to me. Thanks for doing this tutorial. It was very helpful. Do you have a supplier you wouldn't mind recommending for the Aspen wood? I'm in AZ and it is nearly non-existent in the lumber stores here. Happy New Year to you and your family!

I think cutting 1 1/2 " material - (2) 3/4" pieces together .. I would use a UR9 blade .. handle it a bit better without any adverse effects .. but .. great cutting and great video .. I thought about cutting that one .. but .. went on the GRINCH cut instead .. hahahahaha .. I think I'll cut this one for my Daughter .. instead.

What kind of glue and does it squeeze through the cutouts
@LuthersWoodworking2 ай бұрын
I use regular wood glue to glue the two pieces together. As far as it squeezing out...you just need to be careful not to put too much glue but enough to hold it.
