You don't even need AWD for the snow... VW Fox beater with dedicated winter tires took many people any place they needed.. throw on some decent aux PIAA lights ... Tires are still the biggest force multiplier in winter driving. IMO. I have watched a Posi-Traction rwd pickup best a 4x4 in the Snow because tires and weight..

Styling looks like an enlarged previous generation Sentra, especially on the front. The last generation Sentra was a good looking compact car, but I think it makes this Altima look outdated even though it's technically more modern.

This is what I kept saying. Most of the people buying SUVs do not need SUVs at all. This car proves it in terms of snow capabilities. I love the Altima, just hate the 2L VC turbo engine. This particular car I actually really like because it doesn’t have that engine 😂 However, I highly recommended SV premium or higher because you don’t get the 8 inch screen and instead get a 12.3 inch with wireless CarPlay and whatnot.

You're better off getting a Tesla model Y with third row. It's gonna be $20k cheaper and you will have more range.

Nissan? Nothing like the French buying a failing Japanese brand. Yeah, that will work out great. Owned one Maxima years ago. Transmission failed 2200 miles after the warranty expired. 6 weeks and $4000 later I get it back. And quickly traded for a Honda. I'll pass. If I want to drive a Nissan, I will get a cheap weekly rate at Budget or Enterprise.

Our 2022 SV AWD gets 36mpg summer mixed driving, with 16 gal tank you have 500+ mile range after fill-up. I had extra set of steelies from our 2011Altima ( daughter drives the old one still, it's at 190K on original CVT ! ). Mounted 215/65R16 Blizzak WS90 all around & this car is just wonderful in midwest or mountain snow driving. 2 years ago drove up to A-Basin from Loveland with snow covered road - just tracks like on rails, & don't need turbo boost in those conditions

The raptor is a desert runner, built for high shock absorption and speed. This truck is masterful at crawling through rugged, rocky terrain. It's really apples to oranges.

My sister had an Altima AWD and the AWD system never worked. She couldn't get out of her driveway because the front wheels were spinning on the ice, and the back would never kick in.

Nissan Altima is a great value. CVt, change the oil every 30k, don’t drive it like you stole it. Moms has 180k same CVt. CVTs actually are great for a relaxing drive. Smooth and no noise, unless you floor it which most people don’t.

This could be a very appealing choice if it wasn’t saddled with that deal-breaker CVT. Had a ‘02 3.5SE with 5sp manual and that car was a blast for 15 years and 200k. Doubting this new one could do same.

I won't recognize it unless the rear bumper is ripped off, the registration is out of date, and you have at least three different tires on the vehicle. Some conspicuous scratches and dents in the front would be helpful as well

Would it kill them to have the double cab as an option in this truck or the ZR2? I'd be happy even if it was just a one year limited edition kinda thing. It makes a lot more sense with it being an 'off-road' vehicle to have a decent bed... and also, cause that's what I want 🤣.
